His "19 goals this season" is primarily in europe

His record in the league is hardly brilliant

Also looks thick as fuck too

10 in league actually - equal top scorer

Read the first few pages and it seems oddly civil for an online discussion:

It's just us who are mentally deficient lunatics sadly. I recall the Burnley forums being very civil too :)

Deano is 18 and it's clear as day that the boy is class and will go onto have a very good career providing he's managed right and he certainly looks to have the right attitude to succeed - oh and he also actually supports the club.

Not sure what is with our fans, but he's just played in two european legs, started in wins at Ibrox and played a part in the win at Parkhead and some folk are being awful critical and very harsh in my opinion.

Is there an agenda against local lads or something? as I just don't get the criticsm. He's a young lad playing against grown men, he will make mistakes but that's how he develops and learns and he needs chances to do so. He shows more maturity on the pitch than a lot of players his age and while clearly having the technical ability he will only fill out and make himself more of a physical threat, he's already got the height.

Folk highlighting like one tackle he lost, or he was "heavy breathing" (How someone even cares about that or can use it as a valid argument is beyond me) and looked gassed need to have a day off.

He made quite a few errors away to ROPS, so I was a bit bemused by all the plauditry. McLennan and Anderson both seem to have more potential atm but the kid is basically an embryo (18 and 4 months old) and he's one of our own. I'm sure he'll do well and continue to improve.

The James Wilson doubters remind me of the people who moaned when we had Maddison in the team.

You'd think you'd recognise a real footballer after all these years...

presumably talking about kaffir lime leaves. Either that or it's another tiresome example of fragile masculinity on a football forum recklessly (and so impressively - how we all so swooned) indulging in casual racism. Must be a big fan of Widdecombe and other english intellectual geniuses.

Not the supporter though. No-one cares, look at the crowds. Virtue signalling.

Imagine we signed Mallon instead of Forrester. Forrester and May need benching. Hopefully with Ferguson and Devlin back we'll improve...Anderson or Wilson up front..

I wouldn't rule Maribor out in their home tie. Will be slightly gutted if Hibs make the play off round, but will take the co-efficient advantage in their case.

We need 2 strikers tbf. Cosgrove and May should be our second choice two, unless we decide to cut our losses with May. We were already looking for a striker before Rooney buggered off.

If you don't know who each of their starting 11 is then you really shouldn't be commenting

They're all recognised names and every one of them would get in our team

I'm not the kind of sad fuck who takes an interest in Barnsley FC. I've heard of 3/4 of them, max. Will be astonished if they make top 10 in their league this season. If they beat us, they won't get past Istanbul...

Hoban looks like a good bit of business, and kudos to McInnes for keeping this one out the press and wet sheet boards...
