The Mckenna Dilemma

Recommended Posts

Celtic making a 4.5m +add ons bid in the next day or 2. Player on loan the other way. Shite.

Corresponds with what I heard earlier in week about Tims "tapping" SM pre transfer request.

It will be Hendry and Hayes they'll be trying to punt out on loan.

Arrogant fuckers. Lower bid and 2 players they don't want on loan like they're doing us a favour

We should demand £10M plus Christie on a permanent.

Obviously Christie will now have no desire to join us on a permanent, but convincing him he should will be Celtic's problem.

And if they can't convince him, then tough shit - no fucking deal.

.

£10m plus agreed if its Celtic

Christie's star has risen considerably though so no fucking chance of that . Shame we never snaffled him last season , would have been a real asset

Don't be daft, Christie is probably similar value to McKenna these days.

A transfer request before the English window closed surely wasn't in Celtic's best interests.

Better to wait til it shuts and have the field to yourself

Flushes out EngChamp competitors knowing Dons would refuse with Rijeka on the horizon. Gives tims the remainder of the window to low ball and campaign via the media, knowing how this normally pans out.
