  1. Another late winner for Dandy. Never in doubt šŸ˜…
  2. Ill try and be positive here. Showed a bit of character to pull it back from 0-3 down. Things couldā€™ve got ugly if Warnock hadnā€™t made the changes when he did. I think we all recognise the ā€˜back 3ā€™ experiment, enforced or not will be firmly in the bin after this. Duk grabbing a brace is very welcome, certainly need him to rediscover his form from last season. Draw a fair result given both teams robbed of a goal for minor infractions. Warnock learning fast where our deficiencies lie but is limited in what he can do to fix them. The challenge is getting some consistency out of this team which has been woefully inconsistent so far this season. Too many are performing below the level we know they can achieve, but it could be dragged out of them with the right guidance.
  3. I've probably been more patient than most with Barry but there's just no sign that his managerial nous is anything more than mediocre. Situation rapidly going the way of Glass and Goodwin who stuck stubbornly to their own methods and squads but couldn't adapt when things went downhill. There's been some strange goings on with personnel (Williams, Dadia, Vinny frozen out, Mcdonald & Duk being used sparingly) and very little evidence he knows how best to use the squad at his disposal. We're better than this, but performances have been miles below par. A good manager would not have been satisfied with the Clyde showing. That Squad did not deserve to start again today.
  4. Fri - Bristol Rovers v Charlton btts 4/6 You need a pick for Sat too?
  5. Weā€™re a right miserable bunch eh. Cup final at the weekend, fresh aff a win in the league and yet the chat is still about clearing the CEO, half the boardroom, first team manager and playing staff.
  6. We didnā€™t know at the time that Glass would be an unmitigated failure, but I agree its rare that a manager with little to no experience becomes an instant success. Mcinnes, much like Calderwood had ample time to implement their own philosophies but neither lifted us to the next level and ultimately the fans lost patience. Understandable that younger fans would look at the Mcinnes era through dewy eyes when you look at the shite thatā€™s bookended it. The general lop-sided structure of Scottish football makes it immensely difficult for any manager outside the OF to win accolades nowadays. That doesnā€™t stop us hoping itā€™ll all come together one day and weā€™ll get the consistency required to properly have a go.
