Aberdeen 5 - 0 Chikhura Sachkhere (6 - 1)

Fantastic performance.

Gallagher, Leigh and Ojo all impressed; all look like good acquisitions.

Delighted for Cosgrove to get an open-play hat-trick - a good "fuck you" to his critics who attacked him (despite scoring)  because he was marginally less effective than Pele on performance enhancing drugs, in the first two games of the new season.

He has has scored several braces for us previously and well deserved to finally get the hat trick.  What about the third goal, with the outside of his foot?

He will breach 30 goals for us this year, in all competitions.

Alles gut, really.

My confidence levels for the 3rd round have increased by several hundred percent after that.

And I hope Hearts have had the foresight to apply lubricant beforehand, come Sunday.

- clean sheet

- no injuries

- Big Sam: 6 goals in 4 games (including 4 from open play and a 100% penalty record)

- important minutes and great performance from Leigh (who opens his Dons account)

- Wright opens his Pittodrie account

- everyone steady and capable

- good squad rotation... subs (Wright, Campbell, and Anderson) were about our youngest, whilst players like Bryson and Wilson can be fresh for Sunday

- May on the bench shows that we are still trying to recoup the maximum value we can for him

- ref was great

(I'll have a season of that!)

Guest the shepherd

some of you lot want to calm the fuck down. The opposition were a team of waiters. Hearts will beat us in the first game.

Is Georgian football your Mastermind specialist subject min? You seem to know a lot about the second jobs of the Chikhura Sachkhere team.

Nice game  we played some nice flowing fitba at times. Opposition were poor but they never stopped trying to string passes together.

Confident about Rijeka now, but weirdly less confident about Hearts who will after watching tonights game come to disrupt and generally be the hammer throwing c--nts we all hate

Question what on earth has Mcinnes done to Cosgrove? year ago could hardly pass water link up play goals  the lot only thing was I wanted goal no 3 to be left foot!

Some change in cosgrove don't think I have ever see such a change in fortune of a player except perhaps McNamara who went in completely the opposite direction (thought he would be decent went and become awful)

Mcinnes has found out how to play him

The team looks so much better with Ojo sitting in front of the back four. Constantly making himself available and moving the ball on. We’ve missed that since the rat left.

It's early days but Ojo looks a much better player than ratboy. Got the ball forward loads.

That was money well spent tonight. The pace of our play at times was brilliant. Hopefully we play the same style most games and we will not be far away at the end of the season.

Credit to the opposition, they played some decent stuff.

Cosgrove’s third was superb.

Shinnie who?
