I'll probably put a bet on it.

If he turns into a beasting goal machine, does that basically mean McInnes is a shite manager?  In fairness, he's won one trophy by beating a highland league team (and admittedly the tinks on the way there), but with a half decent squad and the 3rd biggest budget in the league, you'd half expect that to happen by chance.

Might just be that the statistical "you'll win a trophy once every 25 years" just happened to fall during his tenure.

Jimmy got us a fair way into Europe and got binned.

Even Raith Rovers and Inverness won a cup.

Are the tinks Alloa, Falkirk, Motherwell or St Johnstone?

Yes.. all of those are tinks.

In fairness I was somehow remembering that we beat Celtic (the game with where Robson "chested" the ball down to Pawlett), but I admit I appear to be getting my games confused.

I don't have an award to present you for spotting that though.

Scottish cup the week after we beat St Johnstone in the league cup semi.  What a time to be alive

Tbf Mcinnes probably peaked that week

And then got knocked out by St Johnstone at Snake Mountain.

Now I remember, having to go to that shithole to watch us get done over in the semi final by Stevie May coincidentally and synchronistically given the thread title.

A horrible day that.  Should have been out of sight before May scored the equaliser

That week was fucking incredible. Off from work all of the week in between. Just one long piss up. Wonderful.

I remember a robson back post header miss but that’s about it. I’m fairly sure I gave myself alcohol poisoning during that period, couldn’t move for days after that semi final.

It was the Scottish Cup we beat the tinks in that season (if you're talking about celtic?)

Edit. Too late.

So did Pawlett. Should have been 3-0 up by time they scored
