Stewards/ police at Motherwell

Recommended Posts

Inept , allowed their fans on to the pitch(1) and past the hoardings (2)

the response after the pitch was to put around 10 of the stewards in front of us

various items thrown at Calvin who did fair play to him batter the ball at them at one stage when in the corner and a few attempts to get him were made by Motherwell players diving in

Noticed none of this appeared to be mentioned on tv or papers

if that’s the way they want it to go , a return to the old days so be it

A bit of confrontation at the fitba is all part of it.
Better than the nanny state shite we usually see.
The reality is 95% of those Motherwell “Bois” couldn’t fight sleep though ?

I’ve no issue with the passion noise and banter / baiting from rival and our support

it’s the uselessness of the stewarding and police I was stating

however items being thrown at players if it had been one of the cheeks the media would have been all over it ?

that’s now twice one of our players have been assaulted or attempted to be

not acceptable

The resurgence of teenage lads going to the game together as a big group and creating a bit of noise is great to see. StJ/stM/motherwell/ross county all a better atmosphere with them.

I think it’s great that some teenagers are choosing to support their local teams as opposed to the vast majority who will migrate to the gruesome twosome, whilst rarely or maybe never setting foot inside Ibrox or Parkhead. Unfortunately these teenagers will have to listen to repetitive taunts of “Aye, but your team’s shite, they never win anything”. Of course, the retort should be “aye, but it’s the team from my home town that I support”

Hmmm... in America the kids are so full of coca cola and cheetos they are lethargic. Much safer environment IMO. Scotland has much to learn.

Get the kids a $15 hot dog and $10 nachos. You'll have lines around the crapper as the teenie boppers will all have the shits. Then when they get home they can put on their head sets and properly troll each other while playing e sports.

Lowers teen pregnancy too. Hope it helps.

Thought young Calvin handled the situation very well, smashing the ball right into they ugly wee bastards while ensuring plausible deniability. ?

Overall though, I'm pleased to see younger supporters getting a bit buzzed up and  making some riot at the games again.

I mean what's the point of teenagers at all, if they don't bring the noize & inject a bit of anarchy into proceedings?

IMO police & stewards should just stay out of it - softly softly unless someone's right out of order. They're law enforcement, not fucking primary school monitors.
