Love Carhartt.  Actual functional gear you can rely on to not fall to bits when you're outside doing some physical labour.

 

Not pretty like North Face or Helly Hansen, but you can stride out into a blizzard and hack down a tree without worrying you're going to rip your jacket or breeks on a twig. 

 

It's made for teuchters and construction workers who are throwing around farm animals and machinery, it's not made posey fucking Norwegian hillwalkers where the biggest thing they're going to be lifting is a fibreglass walking pole. 

 

Also half the price of the 'Brand' shite. 

 

You wear NF, HH, or FR round these parts and you're going to get laughed at.

Ordered a pair of Adidas Busenitz that arrived today, hadn't appreciated the big flappy tongue on them though. So the question is, to cut or not to cut?

 

Obviously something even Adidas think about as they show you where to cut. As they currently stand, they look like a glorified Samba but if I cut them then a lose the gold Adidas logo.
