whats his beef exactly karl? there isnt much info in the link.

Think its to do with the final plan for the bypass... Its a mix between 2 plans, both passed. The Scottish Exec then changed the final plan and he's claiming that the part between Milltimber and Stonehaven now doesnt meet European planning laws.

He's in teh EE today pretty much saying that even if he loses this one he'll then go to Europe. Whatadick!

He says the Exec failed to properly consult on the final route.

They say that all routes and all stages of the route were properly consulted and with that the plans then stand.

They're right, he's wrong. Been proven umpteen times already.

Fucker gets this to Europe though and it may all change.

Saw a sign in Tesco last week for an assassin for hire :itch-chin:

fuck knows

hopefully now it does. If I was in the Exec i'd have chucked a compulsory purchase order on his house now just for the shits and giggles.

He's a lecturer in planning law at AU. I personally think its no more than a bit of work related fun for him.

Does he even have the right to go to the European Court now anyway? He's lost so many cases now he really should just fucking give up. Guy is a complete tosspot.

If the supreme court refuse the appeal, he can ask the European Court of Justice to hear his appeal on a point of E.U. law only - they can decline to do so.

Interestingly, there was some discussion about his expenses for the supreme court hearing. He's obviously feart about it. A figure of

I thought he said this would be the end of the road if they lost their appeal at the Supreme Court.

It really is amazing that a tiny minority of people can hold back such a major project that could bring a major boost to the area.

Not unless the bypass is taking us from Stonehaven to Ellon via fucking Newcastle

The man who could block the Aberdeen bypass and condemn the north-east to years of congestion now lives nearly 250 miles away from the proposed route.

William Walton has left Aberdeenshire and moved to north-east England after losing his job at Aberdeen University.

Yet, despite no longer having to fight his way through Granite City gridlock, by Wednesday night his legal challenge could have halted the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route project indefinitely.

You couldnt fucking make it up!!

Words absolutely fucking fail me. What a complete and utter wanker. I don't think he will win this latest court battle but it just shows what a complete arsehole of a man he is. When you look at his background he clearly just loves fighting planning for the sake of it. Hopefully this wednesday will be the last we see of this prick.
