I mind we had the boy Adnan Ahmed on trial back in 2010 when he played Fraserburgh, although he came fae Pakistan, formerly part of India (pre-1947). He was worse than having a bad dose of diarrhoea. I wonder what he is doing with himself nowadays? Surely still nae impostering as a footballer.

The little I have seen of him he has shown signs of being a decent player (with the right players around him) but he is being unfairly written off based on the semi, where he was thrown in, back from injury & with very little game time & the whole team was basically shite. People hoped he would be the great spark needed in Shinnie & McLean's absence but there was little chance of that & as a result that expectancy has left people overly judgemental a bitter towards him. Yes he was shite but it was ONE game & he was not the only one.

When the whole team suffers. Individual players are easily targeted as an excuse.

It's the way it goes.

 

Considine has for the most part been shit to average for example but occasionally has great games.

If he has anything other than a great game. He is targeted by the majority as being shit. Even if he has had an ok game & not really done anything wrong.

 

Same goes for the likes of Rooney. The team is shite but it's his fault for missing a couple of chances when the truth is he has been given less chances by the team being shite a lot of the time.

His ratio of goals/shots on target to chances is probably not much worse than it ever was really.

 

He's just a waste of a shirt when the rest of the team aren't getting the ball to the areas he needs it now.
