Be as well sticking this in here. Needing a new TV.

Recommendations anyone?

Not going daft. Must be smart enabled and around the 500-600 quid mark.

@The Boofon I bought a new Panasonic DX600 40" LED from Argos at the weekend £379.  Replacing a damaged plasma which admittedly had a better contrast (blacks) but it's a stop-gap until we get a better one later.  It's last year's model - this year's equivalent is £499 and I don'r see it being £120 better - the price is low to shift them presumably, but it's got Smart apps and a Firefox browser.  Good TV and brand (obviously) for the money; it'll eventually go in the kitchen or bedroom but will do for now.

Took delivery of my Amazonian Tarp Hat today. A thing of beauty which compliments my good looks.

Made from recycled tarpaulin, there is no other identical hat in the world.

Treat yourselves boys and girls, you'll thank me some day.

^ No. Don't be fucking stupid.

If you use a bit of tarpaulin to make a hat, you cannot make another hat with the same material. You therefore have to use another bit of tarpaulin to make the next item, which won't be the same.

Why didn't you get one made out of cotton or similar, same principle applies and it wouldn't look stupid.

After having visited your city weekend previous, I mentioned to my better half that the dress sense of the locals was circa 1996. She giggled at my quip and agreed.

Therefore being a local from your locale you would have no idea what looks good. Or not.

Cool Rumpy. Why not buy a tight fitting suit and a cape made from tarpaulin as well?

Tag F1 Calibre 5.  Very nice and very happy with my purchase.  Not hugely expensive but it is the most i have ever spent on a watch.
