  1. Handed 10k back to Celtic. Press will love that we have only sold 9k.
  2. Been told we will get over 5m for him. But that was when he was on a hot streak. Will his current form effect that?
  3. You have to pay the money then for a adequate no2, 1 that’s actually capable of playing. We should of kept the young lad and stuck him on bench as this guy has clearly been zero comp to Roos. Complete waste of a wage. Hasn’t he got another year too?
  4. I’d argue why we even need a second experienced back up keeper. Go get a no1 and put a youth player on bench. Given how often in last 2 seasons our no2 has actually played anyway it seems a waste of a wage. Maybe the benefit is more so in training I’m not sure? Bring Archie Mair home.
  5. Said it at the time. 2 yes, 3 no. You do wonder how much of these will start in our 11 next season. Straight of bat your looking at losing Roos, Gartenmann, Barron and probably Duk and Bojan.
  6. Unlikely but possible we sign 3/4 very good players. The hope with a new manager and head of recruitment is we do a lot better than last season. Assuming we have a very healthy budget this summer too. Trying to be a bit more positive. It’s persuading our first choices that’s been the issue. Hopefully Jimmy/Gunn combo is better at it than Robson/Gunn was.
  7. I’m the complete opposite I used to quite like the EPL but now hardly watch it at all. Can’t wait for the next dons game hoping we can turn things around (been like that for 4 years). Even though we are absolutely shite. I still honestly believe a club like ours or hearts can challenge the top 2. I know 99% will say I’m delusional but if we can get a quality manager in that would help massively. Get lucky in recruitment and land 3/4 bojan type signings along with 1 or 2 of our shit hot youth prospects excelling at thesame time why can’t we atleast win a cup or 2 and be tight up their arses. Appreciate the chances are slim but if we get the recruitment right and a decent manager I believe we can really close the gap at very least.
  8. Well said. Malay Mackay Jesus fukin Christ. You think we should be appointing a manager that was sacked by a team fighting relegation.
  9. Exactly this. Hopefully the new manager can get something out of him next season. But with lack of game time I’d imagine he will want out in summer. If he can recapture decent form he’s def worth more to us thatn 50% of a bid under 1m.
  10. Yeah there is that but he’s got another club to manage. Excited none the less! I wonder what Stewart and co on sportsound will have to say. Will the club get applauded for appointing a manager on an upward trajectory or will they be ridiculed because he doesn’t know the Scottish game?
  11. Would really like him in before end of season so he can see who can operate in his style. Going to be a massive turnover of players yet again so the sooner we start working on his style of player the better. No sure thing in football but this us the exact type of manager we should have appointed after Mcinnes. While it has been shambolic from start to finish if we can somehow get our no1 target Cormack and co deserve a fair bit of credit. Just need to announce it 1 way or another so everyone knows where they are at. Really excited about next season if we do land Thelin.
  12. Id hazard a guess it will be well over 500 pages.
  13. That’s 100% what’s happened in past. Players at our top end of budget just sit and wait to see if a better offer comes in and more often than not it does. Wisniewski, Idzes and Teklic prime examples of this.
