Yeah. Great views back over the city too.

Indeed, the views from the steep hill/steps up to the Basilica are stunning on a clear day. The Eiffel Tower all lit up at night in the distance looked a bit tacky last time I was there though. Bit Blackpool

It's a fucking shithole full of african beggars, you'll love it.

Go visit the Moulin Rouge area, be funny to hear you've been raped and robbed. Enjoy your holiday.

I'm staying close enough to Moulin Rouge, but obv the advice is to avoid it at night.

Have another Carling, a bacon roll and chill out. Wishing rape on other posters can't be good for your health.

Maybe give the gazelles a wash or shop for a new Parka.

The adults are talking.

I've saved my bollocks off for this holiday.

So don't start your pish with me.

First time I've left the country in 4 year.

Obviously, I'm still lucky.

The Tower is a must and if you have time to see Mona Lisa too, worth seeing just to wonder what he/she was thinking at the time of portrait.

Some say it is a Leonardo self portrait converted to a female look but have ma doubts.

Last thing you do is avoid that area at night, it's the best thing about Paris. Ovs need to keep your wits about you but it's stripper clubs, pubs and sex shops galore, get a proper laugh. Just watch out for the darkies.

I'm with my missus.

The Louvre is fantastic. I was a bit underwhelmed with the Mona Lisa, mainly due to the guards surrounding it and the amount of cunts( tourists) taking photos of it. Museum d’orsay was decent but we had to queue for about 90 minutes to get in.

Neither a patch on Kelvingrove btw.

We've prepaid for fast track shit so we don't have to queue.

Exciting shit

There's a really good pub with tables outside opposite Gard du nor station, great for daytime drinking/people watching/telling beggars to fuck off. Great Chinese just around the corner. Top tip....there's 3 prices they charge, cheapest standing at the bar price, then sitting inside, then outside. Go order at the bar, then take the drink outside, really funny having a French waiter say you can't do that. You then explain you just did.

Don't bother with the museum shite, just a picture at the end of the day.

You don't have to spend a fortune.

Jump the metro to buttes chaumont park, get a bottle of wine and some food and have a picnic overlooking the city. It'll be the best lunch you have in Paris.

No hanging around with the ordinary poor people, love a champagne socialist landlord. 😂 You're the biggest Conservative on here in actions, hahaha.

That's a hell of a way to frame it.

We're only there for 4 days so trying to get everything in without queues is worthwhile, IMO.

I'm also not a landlord, for the sake of posterity.

We were going to do that on the last day.

One night at a fancy restaurant and the rest of our meals will just be supermarkets and cafe stuff.

Top advice, you can't beat a picnic overlooking the city, spine tingling.

If you're really lucky you may be able to catch a sight of the rioters complaining over pension reforms, truly magical.

And people wonder why they view the Brits as ignorant pig people.

A nation of people who stand up for their rights.

The Brits are losers who just accept being metaphorically ass-raped.

Bordeaux is ten times the city that Paris is, I'd go back there, brilliant place. Couldn't pay me to go back to Paris, utter shithole. London trumps them both by miles, best city on the planet. New york ok but not near London.

I agree Parkie, the French know how to protest, apart from the poll tax the brits are crap at it. Retirement age of 67 maybe going to 68 and not a whimper, that's a disgrace, it's far too old.

SNP auditors quit now.

Rats all scurrying off a sinking ship.

It's all going to get very messy, they all think quitting will help them, trying to avoid the inevitable. Blackford, Sturgeon, chief constable, Murrell, Foote, Swinney etc. Lot of people going to be bricking it.

You only had to see Kate Forbes smile when she didn't win to know something was up, she was so happy.

Wonder where Sturgeon is hiding.

Couldn’t think of anything worse than going to Paris and trudging those streets trying to not get mugged by blacks.

theres a bar there called the Pure Malt that is owned by a boy from Kincorth, used to have a cartoon pic of a dons man pissing on a hun top but he was definitely a hun sympathiser.
