Enough holes in the storyline to make a fishing net. Some of the actors are decent enough but are let down by a poor script and bad direction. Shame really as it's not all bad, just too many things don't add up.

Doctor Sleep

 

Thankfully not as bad as I thought it might be. While you could never call it gripping it's still an ok watch even if it does plod a bit. Starts with a little intrigue before crawling along for a bit then picks up again for the 2nd half.

The most 80's film going. Tame by todays horror standards but enjoyable enough. Fine Soundtrack and use of long panning camera shots.

Mouth from the Goonies plays Mouth from the Goonies with a bandana.

Event horizon is a classic. Has that alien vibe about it. That bit where he explains instantaneous space travel with a pen and paper, the modern day Kubrick, Nolan, practically stole that verbatim for interstellar. The man's a visionary.

 

Love denzel when he is in training day mode, equalizer, man on fire, book of Eli. Can't beat it.

 

Can't wait to see the new gangster movie about Hoffa and the mob. It's on Netflix soon. Going to see joker tomorrow, see how the incel becomes a super villain. I'm expecting gritty story telling.
