IF Scotland move out, how can QP afford to run a stadium that size?

Could sell it brick by brick to us and we'll just rebuild it at Kings Links. Use Pittodrie as a training ground.

The lease is up on it and its being discussed.

Tbh, I'm not really concerned about QP or whoever owns the ground. They had their SFA rent for years, its not our problem what they do if its not renewed. As someones else said it could just host athletics meetings and things maybe.

The problem is more what else will the SFA do instead - I don't trust them one bit. If they plan to play at other grounds, I'd want to see it written into some sort of contract/constitution that prevents all the game simpy being played at Ibrox and Celtic Park at exorbitant rates of rent. Its bad enough our whole SFA structure is so Glasgow focused without that sort of situation evolving. They'd need to commit to playing games at 4 or 5 grounds and taking the team around the country for matches.

Of course better still would be to find the money to build a purpose built national stadium but that will never happen frankly.

dont think we need a national stadium at all to be honest. dont think many other countries outwith britain & ireland have one... could be wrong though. its been known to happen.

The SFA don't exactly have an inspiring record in this regard. Would you trust them with your money to go again? Like fuck I would. Imagine the hampden crowd right on the edge of pitch like the Allianz last night.

Cup finals all played at Ibrox or Parkhead? Nah, I'll give it a miss.
