Not sure about Davis but fairly certain that Defoe has 2 recall periods in his loan agreement where Bournemouth can take him back if required but no reciprocal clause where sevco can send him back. So they're stuck paying £35k/week for him till summer 2020. Bournemouth must be pissing themselves.

To be fair, I don't think it was a penalty necessarily but I also don't think it was a dive

But some things are with Boyd you won't see him say or write a bad word about his current employers, teammates or manager whilst continually firing salvos at everyone else in the league. Which means he lacks any credibility whatsoever and should therefore not be doing it until he is retired as he cannot be impartial about the league he writes about every week.

I totally agree that whilst still playing he maybe shouldn’t be quite as he is,but remember the crowd he’s playing to.The knuckle dragging cunts will all be wanking off over what big Boyd is saying,so from the papers point of view,it’s great stuff that sells.
