The moment we are safe we should be playing Doohan and/or Ritchie for the remaining games. Unless Ritchie is on loan somewhere? I suspect they are a drop off in quality but there will be no better time to find out for sure.

There's an outside chance we might see Thelin before the end of the season, if we secure safety early. But he's clearly staying well away from this season's shit show. Make of that what you will.

That's a sobering list, Tord. Still surprises me that some folk think we only need a few players rather than major surgery. Lots of new players required, especially if/when Mio and Duk depart as expected.

Was the same in the 1-1 game at Pittodrie recently. Miovski is a much better player. Would score heaps playing for Celtic with the chances they create.

We need to improve all our results, top 6 or otherwise. Kilmarnock have lost the same number of games that we have won. That's from getting decent results across the board.

I think he's had enough time to prove his worth. His overall performances don't warrant a permanent signing. We can do better.

Aye and we got Ferguson on compo because he was out of contract that summer. Might not have got him if he still had another couple of years on his contract. Certainly wouldn't have got him for anywhere near the price we paid anyway.

Coz nobody has a crystal ball Davie and having just sacked one rookie manager (and two of the last 3 being rookies) there was probably little appetite for another. Getting someone experienced in til the summer to give them time to recruit someone decent was a reasonable idea at the time.

Fair play to the big lad. Hope he does well and proves us all wrong. Seems like a likeable guy and I was impressed he wanted to get out and play rather than sit on his arse here.

The suggestion upthread to try him in a holding midfield role wasn't the worst idea. His height would also be handy in there.
