2018 player budget was 7.8m 2013 was 5.3m in todays money accounting for inflation thats 6m so the wage bill in 2013 is about 75% that it is now

btw

turnover 2013 was 7.85m turnover now 15.3 million we have gone from a wages to turnover of about 67% down to 56%

so you could argue how we are doing a number of ways

Nice figures, ta.

There isn't really any argument from my perspective - all the peices have to fit together.

McInnes has been a very solid manager for us granted.

But it's nonsense for people to suggest he has single handedly turned around the club.

Lennon- No

Gerrard - No

Allesio - Great CV as 2nd man. Too early to tell

Heckingbottam - Great start but then fell away. Too early to tell

Levein - No

Wright - No

Robinson - Potential, but hard to call

Rice - Great start but then fell away. Too early to tell

Holt - Not yet, needs more experience

Goodwin - Great start to his managerial career, has potential but will be interesting to see how he fares with St mirren. Was a welt of a player

Ferguson and Kettlewell - Don't know enough about them.

So as it stands I think McInnes deserves to continue in the role

While I agree with you, let's be honest here, before he went to the Huns we'd all have loved Gerrard here.

Fit?  Sorry, I have no respect or unfounded hero-worship for guff fitba.  I turn it off if it sneaks on the telly.  I would have hated him at Aberdeen.  I don't live in Sky TV world.

Too much of a risk totally unproven - is he really doing anything? he is 2nd  playing massively higher wages hasn't even got to a final yet (av weekly wage rangers £8.9k Aberdeen £2.9k)

is that really a success manager?

I think the others above have clearly identified, we all wouldn't.

Absolutely, their lucky run last year in the Europa league papered over the cracks for them.

Lets see if they manage the same next year.

Hopefully no luck of the draw / decisions in games this time.

Well, I certainly didn't say or imply that.

Being the single biggest reason wouldn't equate to 'single-handed'.

I'd rather have removed my haemorrhoids with an industrial sander than seen that gype appointed here, even before he started wearing an orange sash

Could we not have waited until ten games into the season before extending their contracts? Seems like reward for what, on paper, looks a decent summer transfer window.

It would appear to be a moral-boosting show of commitment timed to coincide with the eve of our first competitive game of the season.

(It won't hurt with recruitment of the midfielder we're looking for, either.)

In regards to professional standards he has. We are no longer seen as a club where players come and put in half arsed displays for decent wages and are out on the piss every night.

We have been a joke club for years until mcinnes was appointed.

I thought success was when you won something?

League Cup on pens against ICT.

Not to bothered about if he stays or goes at the moment, but please don't count finishing runners up and failing to reach group stages of Europa as being successful.

Phew - your standards are high!

Yeah should get john Hughes or Neil Lennon instead

Dont listen to him . That idiot exists on stupid opinions and Talksport rumours.

He hates me bringing this up over and over but he suggested the current Montrose manager would be an upgrade as it would be "different' . He doesn't like mentioning it as he realised eventually it was stupid.

Hes a simpleton!

Also appears to be a smokescreen for the lack of an additional midfield signing before our first competitive match.......not that I’m being cynical in any way
