Transfers News For The Inferior Teams

Recommended Posts

Aye, 'cause that one worked out...

"I know I've only signed for a year but the main focus is to get myself back in this jersey, scoring goals and get the club back where it belongs.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist said Boyd's signing was "great news" for the club.

"He obviously showed a great desire to come back and we were very keen for him to come back," said McCoist.

"Kris is probably still, in my opinion, the most natural finisher in the country.

"His goal tally last year down at Kilmarnock was sensational really and it's maybe not for me to say but his goals certainly went a long way to keeping Killie in the division.

"I would say we are bringing back a far more experienced and knowledgeable player.

"He is now at the stage of his career where he will be a real benefit to our team and our squad with his experience, his goals and the knowledge he has gained from all the places he has been throughout his career."
