From that brief description he doesn't sound like a Derek McInnes type of player...

News from ex Plymouth coach Derek Adams who stated to the Devon Press / Radio that Ruben was attracting Interest from clubs, and from a top flight Scottish Club that he used to play for and I remember him playing for us, but unfortunately he also played for Motherwell and Livingston.

Derek moaning about injuries and how he built a strong squad, but it wasn’t his fault for Plymouth being relegated to League Two, it was stated he had taken in a lot of players that didn’t quite gel and  didn’t have enough time to play with each other and get use to his style of play.

Oh McInnes has moved on from that......he now signs players who have had 2 career threatening knee injuries. No wonder Hoban is keen to join up

Surely the Rowett institute could be tasked with producing knee ligaments for Aberdeen footballers from cloned sheep.

Win win.

Sunderland will be fine. We'll be better off with McGeouch anyway

A guy who has barely played for a Sunderland side struggling to get out of EFL1. No thanks

One of the best players in the league last season. Fine if we are taking players like Djoum instead - we need to sign players who have played in the league for some of these 7-8 signings and not take too many Forrester/Gleeson risks

Assuming he were available...you think we would make him our highest paid player to get him onboard ( I know we offered to do that last summer but Sunderland beat our offer at that point and now we would have to better what Joe get's to equal it)?

He was hot property last year, but his stock has fallen and so should any wages we offer him.

Ach no ten Caat son - catching the wee prick on the back swing - broken, lacking confidence - cheaper.

He will probably end up at Swansea.

Maybe worth a cheeky bid for his services.
