Cheers Hanzo, knew you'd understand

Only a total prick says "Back of the net" and before you say it, I'm not one.

That episode was on last night, when he tries to illustrate it’s not possible to draw a cock on your own back.

A shame about Ian St John, RIP.

As other have said, the show Saint and Greavsie was excellent back in the day.

Mainly because it was about football, pure and simple, and had genuine football personalities - Scots and English - whom fans could identify with.

Much better than todays London-centric offerings, where meeting quotas of BAME and women take precedence over football.  The analysis now is often scripted and read out by obscure people seeming somehow connected with football.

Pele, wasn't around in his day, does it mean people don't go out of their way to watch him in old footage given he was classed as the best ever (behind Willie Miller).

More fool me here for even entertaining such shite.

Most Pele footage is from World Cups where all the games are live,  you seen many of his club matches?

Plenty footage available if you search for it old man.

You're deliberately being obtuse.

I've seen plenty footage from The Shankly Years which involved ISJ, yes.

I've seen docus about Liverpool and Shankly,  only really shows you cup winning goals etc,  hard to know how good the players were without watching entire games.

Plenty further stuff out there barring just cup finals to be fair.

League games also shown. Fair play not much out there with full games. Some if you do search or you land lucky with ESPN when they used to show old games...

I watched that clip above NEM posted, and seen other clips of Peter Weir, if I said he was a great winger, would I be wrong in saying so? Would I be wrong in saying ISJ was a great player? Wrong in saying Pele was tremendous? Wrong in saying Willie Miller is the greatest of all time?

Are any of these statements wrong? If so, explain to me how I'm wrong?

You're not a Liverpool fan though,  understandable watching old dons games.
