Hats off to Tyson, I didnt give him a chance - but im really glad I was wrong.

I didnt see the fight, but am agog at him beating Klitschko regardless of how he looked doing it - especially as he was "away" for the fight.

My mate told me Fury was ranting about Jesus before the fight, and then sang to his wife after it  He is certainly a colourful character and this is welcome in what is often a dull weight division. The Klitschkos are (were) very talented but very mechanical and character-less.

Was there any talk of a rematch, or will Klitschko simply hang up his gloves now and concentrate on pumping Hayden Panetierre? I know what I would do, if I was him.

Who will Fury face next I wonder? Who will be the mandatory challenger? I expect he will fight a bum or two as an easy pay day first.

Ivan Drago just signed a lucrative 5 fight deal with German TV before this fight, so can imagine him being desperate to take the title back.

I think he would beat him in a rematch, looked like he didn't even prepare a plan B, such was his confidence of winning. He then got desperate and even threw a cheeky headbutt at one point which nobody seems to mention. A pretty dirty move.

Fucking hell.

One of the worst championship fights I have ever seen. Great post from the pervert Geoff_tipps above, not one of the professionals on Sky fancied Fury going in to it, hence it being the biggest shock in years. Fury would likely beat Wlad 10 times out of 10. Wlad just couldn't figure out his awkward style. Feel sorry for any mug that paid for it.

What a win for the boy, well deserved. Certainly throws the cat among the pigeons though. Anthony Joshua will be watching that and licking his lips contemplating taking the next step earlier than he'd expected. A unification fight between Fury and Wilder would show the sad state of affairs that is heavyweight boxing.

Anyone see the fight before it? The ref told the boys to break and one of them decided to throw another hook and caught the boy on the chin? The boy fell on to the ropes, didn't think he was in any state to carry on.:laughing:

The Joshua stuff is hilarious, he's fought absolute nobodies, not even had a fight for a British title yet and he's 26, I see you can get 11/8 for Fury to beat Joshua if they were to fight, that's a gift.

Fury doesn't have a heavy hit and is slow and lumbering. Joshua has one punch KO power.

Styles make fights. For me Joshua beats Fury, but loses to Wlad. Wlad beats Joshua but loses to Fury.

Nothing to prove that with Joshua though as he's fought against no one that is legit, twitter was a wash with 2 fights a year 'fans' saying Joshua is the greatest and that Fury was lucky etc, he had a game plan and he executed it perfectly, until Joshua fights a legit fighter no one can say how great he is, it's all hype and potential.

I don't think Joshua is the greatest and I don't think Fury was lucky either. It was only 3 years ago that he fought Kevin Johnson, so it's not like he has been fighting top quality names either. I personally think he is too heavy handed, and far too quick for Fury.

Fury had a plan to the spoil the fight and it worked. Wlad usually employs similar tactics so it was pretty ironic to see him lose in the same manner.

What about Haye vs Fury?

When did Fury say that? As in that interview I posted on here on thursday or wednesday he spoke about Haye then.

Said this morning that he will never fight the "fraud" Haye after he twice pulled out of the 2013 fight. And he would rather give up his best than fight him due to this.

Dont think Fury V Haye is the fight anyone wants to see. A few years ago, yeh, but there would be less less interest now given the ascendency of Fury and that fact that Haye has lost all credibility since his own peak.

I suppose the idea of an all British "grudge match" is appealling, but Haye isnt the name he was.

What next? Dredging up Danny WIlliams?

In time, Fury should look to be beating some top 10 names (likes of povetkin or chagaev) and then look for big money to fight the inevitable yanks who are in/around the top 10, possibly even a bout in the States.
