#1747043 Hun Cunts 0 - 2 Aberdeen (Replay)

Champions League doesn't make any difference regarding the game being screened.

There are already guff championship games also being shown live that night at the same time.

Yes it does. You can't show "top level competitions" at the same time as Champions League matches. This includes the top division and cup competitions. Sky can show Championship games as it's lower league. The French league shows games and just pays the fine - this happened with a Man City game last season too. The money coming in from Premier Sports won't be enough to cover the fine so we won't be able to show it. Shocker of a rule. You used to not even be allowed to schedule games on the same night, whether it was televised or not.

Celtic played at St Johnstone in a 6pm kick off once to get around it but with this having the potential for extra time and pens it would have to be a 5pm kick off which isn't happening.

#1742196 Next Seasons Kit..

Posted by Donnet on 21 February 2019 - 11:03 AM

Is there any way we can get the club to involve the fans in the choice of strips for next season?

There's a very good reason 99% of clubs don't do this. It's very poor marketing. Even if you only give 2 choices you immediately potentially alienate 49% of the fanbase. 4 choices and you could have up to 74% of your fans preferring a kit you won't be releasing. When the one they didn't vote for wins those fans are in a negative mindset about the new kit and sales from that portion of the fanbase will be much smaller than if they had only seen the released top.

Mallan should have seen red and Shinnie should also have walked for a second yellow near the end of E.T

Would have been harsh to send Shinnie off for a second yellow without giving him a first.

#1659768 Tv Games

Posted by Donnet on 06 September 2018 - 11:40 AM

7 out of 10 games announced in this batch are Celtic/Rangers away games. No Celtic/Rangers home games.

3 Celtic/Rangers home games already required to be played on the Sunday because of Europa League will be 3pm kickoffs not on TV.

Fuck BT Sport as much as Sky.

That pitch is also in Aberdeenshire - which of course everyone would be against.

#1656397 Aberdeen 0 - 2 Kilmarnock

                Lewis

Logan Devlin Considine Lowe

        Ferguson Shinnie

GMS       Wright            Ross

              Anderson

That would be my preferred team (McKenna in for Considine once fit), especially against shite like Kilmarnock. Wright or Ross come off for Gleeson or Ball as we look to close out games.

Of course we'll never play this 11 ever.

He's that bad we didn't win a single game he missed last season.

So what you are saying is he's to blame for us not winning some games last season.

Probably nothing. I reckon better managers probably couldn't or wouldn't do any better, so consistently beating almost everyone we should, due to the amount of work and organisation McInnes has to do in running the club behind the scenes, and our non-existent class training facilities. Compare what Gerrard has got to work with, training facilities, money and organised club structure. He's a manager with balls. Take all that away and how would he do?

We didn't beat a 10 man Rangers. We didn't even try to beat Hibs.

We'll never mount a serious challenge while McInnes is here. He rates teams like Hibs far too highly and shites himself. How can we go from that performance against St Mirren and decide to completely fucking change the shape of the team. So frustrating as a manager will balls could do great things with this squad.

Is there a distance to the stadium that the alcohol ban covers? Wonder if the club could be clever and have folk leave, go to a club run bar/booze trailer like they have outside Murraufield which is outside the limit and then let them back in......as long as not drunk of course

No distance. Plenty of football clubs in Scotland have bars within the stands, however you have to leave the bar then go in through the turnstiles. There's no access to the bars from inside the ground (apart from corporate).

Suggestions of bigger bars, beer in the concourse or beer tents outside are great - but the club isn't interested. They are targeting a certain type of supporter with the new stadium.

Who on earth thinks we'll be 'unaffected'?

The money for the first phase is from private investment, so as it stands it should be having no impact on our playing budget.

Tottenham build a new stadium then go whole summer transfer window unable to sign anyone.

Yet folk still think we'll be unaffected.

Great defender.  His passing was mainly abysmal on Sunday though

90% passing accuracy on Sunday. 5th highest in Scotland. Highest outwith Celtic.

"In line with the Clubs ambition to become a UEFA Top 100 club, the funds gained from the sale of Scott McKenna are to be re-invested in training facilities in order to produce even more players of his calibre in the future. We can now announce all funding is in place to complete the "Scott McKenna Kingsford Training Complex"."
