  1. Check back 12 months son, the evidence is there in terms of who was for Robson’s appointment and who wasn’t.
  2. Watching the Alan Burrows interview just now, regarding the Thelin appointment. We knew that he was interviewed last year, when Robson ended up horrendously being appointed but getting the impression that Thelin was the preferred candidate then too, but Elfsborg dug their heels in, as they continued to do so this year. Or am in being naive, and the FMB picked Robson over him? 3 year contract
  3. The problem with Shinnie (and I agree with you) is that he’s on £7k a week, till summer 2026. He’s not getting that dough anywhere else, so going to be an expensive redundancy package he’ll be entitled to. Regarding the rest, all depends on how much dosh Jimmy is given to reshape the squad. I suspect irrespective of that, it’s going to take him 3 or 4 windows to totally readjust the squad. If he’s playing 433, then the full back areas might be more pressing a need than the centre backs, this summer. No way will Devlin fit the profile although he’ll probably get kept on for cover
  4. How much notice did Colin give Dave? The day he arrived?
  5. The type of appointment that should have been made when Darek left. The only downside to this appointment - “Jimmy looks forward to working with Dave, Alan and STEVEN”. Gunner still hanging around…
  6. Correct, and McLeish was struggling with an ankle injury all week, which probably stopped him getting in ahead of Stench to the heeder that opened the scoring. Can blame Smithy as much as you like but I don’t think we were ever winning that game; the establishment decided rangers were winning that game come what May.
  7. Oscar Hiljemark is finished in AaB, where he sends the Swedish head coach to Elfsborg. He said goodbye to the playing squad in the 1st division club at the weekend and is expected to be presented in Sweden within the next day.
  8. Announcement tomorrow, seems to be what certain journos are saying.
  9. I’ve no idea how many bookies Shinnie had accumulated prior to yesterday but he must have been due a ban. He’s already out of next weeks semi and presumably the first post split game and you’d have to think a further 2 or 3 games. Season almost over for him?
  10. Spiteri bats for the other side, so horse on, if that’s your thing.
  11. Well, there is that, regretfully. F’king amazing that he’s performed so well with what he’s had to put up with most of his adult life,
  12. On Shinnie, I’m not commenting on his second booking; I’m talking specifically on his performance yesterday (running thru glue) and just generally his performance since he returned to the club and how much cash he is taking out of the club versus that return.
