Of course they are, however thats not what he was implying, he was implying that it was a done deal and happening.

And you implied a few posts back it might not be IDS but his staff

Any proof of this sweeping statement

You said your a yes voter but looking back on your posts you seem very keen to defend the Tories all the time

Any reason for this?

Re the pearl-clutching over proposals to raise the pension age:

That is inevitable, no matter who is in power, for as long as our inadequate birth-rate is tolerated.

its simple economics, not the "bad english tories".

If the SNP proposed raising the pension age, folk would be raving about sturgeon "creating new opportunities for scottish pensioners".

I'm not 100% convinced they will be lower. Our beef was banned by the yanks coz of CJD while we were still eating it. Its all just remainer hype. All food will still be labelled and we'll still be able to choose.

I'm convinced that not too long ago you were saying that you can't blame anyone for being fat because it was massive corporations/supermarkets that were creating the situation where it occurred.

I have no real opinion either way on chlorinated chicken coming in to the market, but surely, based on your previous hypothesis, must be against a lowering of food standards?  Gives these companies more leeway to give you more shit in your diet and you have already stated previously that this trumps people's ability to read labels and choose?

You make a very valid point. Higher food standards are important or we'll all be munching shite. I also don't trust Westminster governments to enforce these if it comes down to shekels. I may have been talking bollocks.

It is simple economics. As in it's the economics of a simpleton

Up to a couple of years ago if you didn't take benefits on private pensions by the age of 75 you lost the ability to take your 25% tax free cash on your policy. That was pretty shitty legislation in itself but now you can. Probably was them setting up the changes. However just because it is being mooted doesn't mean it will happen. When they brought in the pension freedoms a couple of years ago they talked about letting people cash in their annuities but then changed their mind because they realised there wasn't anything to cash in because there isn't a pot to cash in. sorry for boring the fuck out of y'all.

It's great when he's reduced to imaginary whataboutery because he knows he's got fuck all else, isn't it?  Then again I suppose arguing based on complete fiction comes easily to him.

God LOL
