"Jet" signs

Quite like this signing.

Cautiously optimistic.

It's clearly a gamble.  However, as I said, if we can get him fit and interested, then the upside is potentially massive.

However, it could also backfire spectacularly though and we could end-up with an overweight, lazy striker, who only plays 1 good game in every 10.... that player would be crucified by our support.

How's it a "massive" gamble?

I am sure @Ten Caat will confirm for us, but I doubt he is on a big wage

'massive' was possibly getting carried away - I'll give you that.  The JET is still a gamble though, for the reasons described above.  If he's as inconsistent as we're led to believe, he will get savaged by our supporters - particularly if he throws in the towel.

@Ten Caat What is JET getting in terms of wages?

They speak about him a lot on Open Goal.  Quite a few guests, including Si Ferry, who've played with or against him in England.  Suggestion he has had big problems with his weight and motivation/attitude... but everyone remarks on his undoubted talent.

If we can get him fit, lean and interested, he'll do well for us...

Lazy and uninterested. Whodve thunk it!!!

Six foot tall in his socks

I said oh, Whoa Black Jetty (Bam a Lam)

Whoa Black Jetty (Bam a Lam)

Or... more likely

Whoa Black Jetty (Bam a Lam) x100 or until fade out

Excellent song, great group, would work a treat.

This could be Kamberi mark 2 or a sensational bit of business,  Welcome aboard big man.

If we can keep him interested and motivated (which not many clubs have been able to do the last decade so probably unlikely) then we'll have a really good player on our hands. If he reverts to lazy uninterested waster mode he'll be worse than a man short. Heres a good overview of his career to date, complete waster. We can only hope the penny has finally dropped and he wants to have a successful end to his career.........

Don’t even need to read the article, if a player spends his peak years in fucking Thai fitba and not even the likes of Northampton have considered you then that tells you all you need to know.

It's got a decent first 6 months then get injured / fat / uninterested / unable to get back into the team / unable to make the bench / unable to make the squad / released all over it, going by past exploits anyway. Hope no, hope it all jut clicks for him here but his history suggests otherwise.

Grim reading that.

Quote

Although he undoubtedly has the talent, his laid-back style of play doesn’t show the character that most managers desire, and it doesn’t advertise him well

If he's sauntering around the pitch, without a care in the world, he is quickly going to become a target for the Pittodrie boo-boys!

Aye hopefully being 30 he can see his career won't last forever and will try and actually do something.

Unfortunately if you get to 30 being a lazy cunt there’s no way you are changing now.
talented but lazy is not something that quite rightly goes down well with fans.
My prediction is this will be a disaster and he will score somewhere between Maynard and zola. he will last a season then be back at livvy

Any reason in particular those are the 2 strikers you have decided to choose?
