Henry
Laughable that the media is pushing it as being comparable in any way to actual football. Link to comment
thedandydon
Its about the only live football the BBC can get the rights too these days, hence why they make a big deal about it. The standard of goalkeeping in the WSL is tragic. They need smaller goals or something. Link to comment
Ten Caat
Just watched Hungary v Scotland with Gaelic commentary as there was nothing else on tv worth watching .......0-2 with 3 minutes of injury time to go. Should really be a minimum of 6 or 7 up but for some utter comedy shooting. Seriously these fucking fraud frauleins are getting paid for this? Loons in primary 6 are better players, have more idea about how to control a ball and certainly would have scored at least 3 of the simple chances that our strikers managed to make a complete cunt of. The only thing the women have over loons that age is being physically bigger. I used to say that a bang average U15 boys team would put 5 past any women's international side. I'm now reviewing that to a bang average U13 boys team. Get this shite off our TV screens once and for all Link to comment
maryhilldon
It's a participation sport, it'll never be a big spectator sport beyond World Cups , where they practically give the tickets away and the media give it far more prominence than it deserves. Not enough woman are interested in watching it, and the vast majority of men deride it. Don't see that changing. Link to comment
Ke1t
You could take the 'Women's World Cup Winning Team' and match them up against any 11 guys playing fitba on a Sunday morning, and the pissheads who were still hungover from the night before would still win without breaking a sweat. Women's football is a farce... if they were to sex it up a bit it might be worth watching, like they did with the Women's 'football' here. No-one's kidding on that some buck ten bint is playing 'football' to any credible standard, so they slap on a bit of makeup, pull on some tight knickers, and run about the place with their tits all jiggling. It's a given that they couldn't get close to competing against men, that's not even worth mentioning. It's more the fact that even competing against each other the standard is so low. Link to comment

We can see how shite their product is, but the women suddenly lose the ability to rationalise 'standards' when it comes to the bucks. "We won the World Cup, so we're BETTER than the men. Give us the same money as them." You're not... so, no. "SEXISM!" Link to comment

If people want to go and watch womans fitba, or pay to watch it on telly, then they will. Otherwise, where do they think their wages will come from? Link to comment
