Were the shaved ape, hippo and co there?

I saw the shaved ape at an Inverurie bus stop at about 3 in the afternoon yesterday so he'd have been cutting it fine.

Aye 12 mins of highlights on RedTV international.  Some observations based on those 12 mins:

 

Scott Wright looked extremely effective.  Defending was woeful though, defenders backing off and giving him plenty of space.  Scott doesn't like it when he gets an elbow or a knee from a defender - he'll shy away if the opponents get physical.  You can nullify Wright by roughing him up early doors, Stenny obviously hadn't done their homework.  Which isn't surprising, given that they're a part-time team, with few resources.

 

Stewart also looked bright... silky turn and dinked finished for his goal.

 

From 12 minutes of highlights, Stenny probably played more football and created more chances than they did on Saturday!!  Our defence caught sleeping a few times...

 

Watched the highlights this afternoon. Thought the same. He beat 4 or 5 players for the Mcginn goal - when played he shows glimpses of what he can do such as in the Hamilton game last week and away to Livingston. Personal feel he's too lightweight and needs to bulk up to succeed at this level. He's clearly got ability but he really needs a loan move until the end of the season where he can play weekly and develop. Ayr would be a good move if theres any truth to that rumour.

 

Stewart has been one of our better performers since joining. Feel he'll play his part for us during the remainder of this season. Glad he's back.

My favourite was the superfan that kept loudly wishing shay Logan a happy birthday every time he went to take a throw in in his vicinity. Must have said it half a dozen times, probably want shay to stop what he was doing and tell him what presents he got.

 

Shinnie shouldn’t take corners, shit at them. Didn’t hear anyone giving him pelters though, just the odd groan

It was a strange atmosphere - I'm not 100% all the mongs in our end on Tuesday were based in the central belt. The team of Considine lads were a special group - high on life...or possibly spice and cans.
