  1. Our record against Celtic is decent. It's just The Rangers. Which I'm sure will lead to accusations of lying down. But it's led to some speculation. The two are still lumped as, the OF. Making it seem like the two teams are similar too. In fact whilst both a lot better than everyone else, The Rangers have a more physical set of players than Celtic. Who tend to pass you off the park. We struggle with the more physical side of The Rangers. We need a harder and more physical core. As well as generally a better team.
  2. There's no denying that the spirit shown by Aberdeen and Coventry was totally absent by Hearts. Our fans saw that, clearly. No argument.
  3. I had high hopes for VAR eliminating the bias in our game. Instead. It's become a useful tool for basically fans in the stands to disallow goals against those two, award pens, etc. Yesterday was a great example. I'm sure in a few hours, if needed by the other half, we'll also be victim to it.
  4. Genuinely gutted for you lot. Hard not to support any other team than them and the other lot at Hampden. Great effort.
  5. He's won over doubters who like me were unimpressed by a novice in-house manager. We've become hard to score against. We've addressed our away form to the point it's actually now historically significant it's that good. He is decent with the media. And was an exceptional player for us. He seems to take big decisions like emptying our dressing room of bad apples. And he seems to develop and improve signings, not all, but most. And has created a great team spirit. The next challenges are our head to heads with that pair, landing a cup, and Europe. But he'll need financial backing. I know he's hugely ambitious. The Rangers fans don't like him, so ultimately it'll be England. As soon as his stock is high enough, he'll be off to a Norwich, etc. Next season I think he'll look to be more expansive and early signings of Spittal and Dhanda already focusing on the AMF area and hole behind the CF.
  6. Was curious bout his style. Looked up a couple of sites. Read or ignore. Despite reference to 433, his teams play a pressing 4231 more than not. High energy and high pressing up the park. Forward players not expected to track back and instead to stay in high positions. Width the main attack focus. Wing play is essential. Ball playing CHs important and play starts from the back with a passing game. Not long ball. He has a definitive style but you'll know if you've the players to accommodate. Elfsborg squad valued 18.2m vs Aberdeen at 13.6m so their players aren't hugely out of Aberdeen's budget to target one or two of the squad. All joking aside I want a strong competitive league outside the Glasgow pair. And Hibs.
  7. Isn't there a thread about bottom six and how you'll avoid the playoff spot if you can outmanoeuvre Ross County? 🤔 Didn't you used to have average Shankland, now you've got Gueye? 🤔
  8. We got a lot of points where we were unconvincing. But far from shite Clark, Kent, Kingsley, Cochrane, Shankland especially have been a grade above the rest of the league. Nieuwenhoff has improved hugely. Notable performances and cameos from Forrest, Oda, Rowles, Atkinson. I'm getting more upbeat bout Dhanda and Spittal. And Penrice is a sensible addition. Rumours of Phillips. Hoovering the best of the rest for little outlay. Leaves majority of our budget for RB, another CH, and a partner for Shankland. We'll be over the horizon from you by November 2024. Too much reconstruction needed at both Aberdeen and Hibs.
  9. Tidy wee player for lower levels but never first XI for Hearts or Aberdeen.
  10. Hibs not moaning bout the remaining Dundee fixture. They've said it's OK now.
  11. Hearts introduced a pretty strict loyalty points system to avoid The Rangers fans buying tickets for our end. But has made it harder for walk up fans to buy. Has only recently been relaxed. But we've fans in England with only a few points saying still struggling. Someone on Kickback counted empty seats available for sale this am, and got to 1,765. We'll have a full end.
  12. 40 quid when we're all struggling, but even if you don't like us, you should be supporting our fight for equal allocation. Or don't moan when you get 14k tickets for a final.
  13. Hibs have spent a fortune by their standards. Now moaning. Bout Dundee. In case they don't make the top half of the league.
  14. Like you were. When getting out of a playoff cos of Falkirk's stadium.
