He's a hearts type player I think.

Hope he proves me wrong but right now I've no idea what we think he's going to do for us.

Someone mentioned waghorn, well Main is exactly the sort of donkey the huns were signing about 3 years ago and we absolutely pissed ourselves at the level of ambition.

In short, I'd laugh at any other top Scottish team signing this guy.

Glad to have not won this 'transfer battle'. He's like a pub bouncer that plays Sunday League up front cos he's slow and shit and talentless but the team thinks he's a bit handy*.

I may be wrong but his early form in his Motherwell career and his strength and pace will make him a difficult player to play against, much like Cosgroves height and strength. However, like May he could struggle to score with how McInnes likes to play his strikers with their back to goal. Like May, I think he needs to play with a second striker or attacking midfielders in and around him.

I think the majority on here make up their mind too quickly the guy is playing his way into the team. The abuse that Cosgrove received and now is seen as the only man to hold down the strikers position.

I will make my own judgment after he has been given an opportunity play his way into the team,

More of a concern for me is Logan and his continuing costly mistakes, the fact the we have not seen Bryson and McGinn's form with his disappointing final ball and the players delivery into the box in general. Strikers very seldom score goals on their own the need team mates to assist.

Drop Logan for Gallagher, the latter is not a forward anyway.

Then ship Logan out within the next fortnight

What is it with this club and full backs. Let’s not vilify the only one we’ve got. (Jury out on Leigh waiting for decent direct opposition).

Logan has been utter dogshit for the past 2 seasons, save for a 3 month period towards the end of season 17-18. His total brainfarts are increasing in frequency and proving costly. It hasn't helped that he has had no genuine competition for his place in all the time he spent with us. The constant flying up and down to see his kids couldn't help matters. If Vyner had looked decent against St Mirren then I wouldn't have been totally averse to letting him go if he could find himself a club nearer where he considers "home". Sadly Vyner looked no better and at times utterly disinterested.

Absolutely no service, bar Consi, Vyner and Devlin especially absolutely shelling him with 60 yard punts up the park and with not a supporting player within 20 yards. Despite that, certainly wasn't the worst player out there. Gallagher takes that award comfortably yet again, although McGinn certainly gave him a run for his money.
