Crawford is another player I don't get the hard on for.

Some on here really don't have an eye for a player.

i think he's a pretty good player for spfl. I am almost certain he will not fit into our 4-2-3-1 however.

i often wonder if i'd be better being the manager

Using your sexual arousement to select players is a bit weird, but if it works........

We never sign anyone from outside the UK. Weird we limit ourselves so much.

It's more that DM wants players he knows can fit into the league, basically a lower risk approach......allegedly

Like Maynard and Tansey. Top strategy.

It's the amount of time it takes him to admit players are pish as well. Took Motherwell dumping us out 3-0 in the Scottish cup semi before he could see what everyone's been saying for months.

He's fucking shite at recruitment.

you'd almost be certain we'll offer him a contract. would fear another tansey situation

Crawfords went off the boil past 18 months or so but he's shown far more than Tansey previously

Just google out of contract league two and one players and take your pick. Pretty sure that's what McInnes does anyway.

"Whilst playing semi-professional football for Carmarthen Town he worked for South Wales Police.[4]"

It's a "No" from me.

Not quite. Russ Richardson does that and charges McInnes for the service.

Sounds like going back to the days of Porterfield when he brought in Gary Hackett and Tom Jones.

What aboot all the Dutch links we used to have back in the day?  Did these disappear with Smithy & Scott?  Surely there must be a link into the lower Dutch leagues, even via Calderwood - assuming he remembers?

Tom Jones - how many times did he hit the woodwork??!?!?!     My personal favourite from that era was the legend that was Keith Edwards. Utter shite.

True story, Keith Edwards scored as many goals in English league football as Nat Lofthouse. Where's his fucking statue?

It's not unusual to hit the woodwork.

Would be good to get 3 or 4 signed on pre contracts before the end of the season so we are ready for Europe and they get a proper pre season

Oh aye. You got told that? Who told you?

A friend of a friends brothers neighbour who used to play for Cowdenbeath.

He has the same amount of goals as Stockley does but is playing for a team flirting with relegation. He also has 6 more than the lad hearts just signed.

Bloke at my sister's work says McInnes has been watching a couple of Clydebank U21 games. Don't know if there's anything in it or if he's just there as a fan

It's not unusual to hit the woodwork.

Especially if it takes a bobble on the green green grass of home games
