  1. I think I disagree with that quite a bit. Some of his passing and through ball play has been excellent, he's stronger in one on ones than he was, and is composed in tight situations. He can also chip in with an effort or two when he gets the opportunity. Ironically, despite disagreeing with you, I agree he has to up his game. He's massively improved, but at the moment I'd rather see him as cover for better midfielders. The problem is we don't really have better central midfielders, and that needs to be addressed. Shinnie can go, Barron will go and i'm fine with that, Clarkson needs to rediscover the form that made us sign him.
  2. Couldn't say, I'm banned off Twitter/X for that thing I mentioned earlier. But if I thought Polvara was shite I'd want him punted along with the rest of the US contingent, nationality regardless, but he's growing into a very decent midfielder.
  3. You can take pictures with it.
  4. New camera for my upcoming road trip along Route 66. The Fuji X100VI. Somewhat dubious that I'll get it in time, though the vendor assures me I'll have it in 10 days or so, despite these things being on months of back order most places. If you're in the market for a new compact camera get yourself one of these.
  5. Amun shows the importance of not sticking your hand into a tiger cage. The screams...
  6. Let's try not to make this about race, shall we? You could have said Jack Gurr, Jerel Ifil, Yoann folly, or Calvin Zola.
  7. Barron was pretty good yesterday. He's done next to fuck all for the last few months, though, and that's my issue with him... not his performance yesterday (when he's putting himself in the shop window in a high profile match).
  8. That would be fucking weird, but that is in fact not a fact, so you can relax. The three players I defended against what I felt was undue criticism were/are Polvara, Ruby, Vinnie. Three different nationalities. Polvara, I felt had a huge amount of potential based on his technical ability, not his nationality*. Ruby, I felt had a huge amount of potential based on his energy and commitment, not his nationality. Vinnie I felt had a huge amount of potential based on his technical ability and how well he did in a more central forward role rather than off on the wing, not his nationality. All three got way too much shit, particularly when their team mates, team mates more senior than them, were doing fuck all to step up and play a leading role. * Gurr and Gallacher were the same nationality, and I think I'm on record as saying they couldn't get to fuck fast enough.
  9. If he continues to improve the way he has after his return then no reason he can't command a starting spot. As it is he should be a solid squad player, covering for the Messi-like midfielders Thelin's going to bring in to replace Barron and Shinnie.
  10. The whole team was good yesterday, give or take. But Barron's been a passenger for months. He can fuck 0ff, though he pretty much already has.
  11. Polvara will do better alongside better midfielders. We desperately need to replace Barron and Shinnie, though. They do fuck all. I think we'll see more of the old Clarkson next season.
  12. He looked appalling in the few cameos he made, like no technical ability whatsoever. When you can't control the ball, pass it or do any of the basics it's worrying. We've had bad players before, but none that looked like they'd never played fitba before. He was allegedly highly regarded before his injury, so fuck knows what happened to the guy. But if he can find form on his loan, then maybe he'll surprise us. No-one can have looked at him in an Aberdeen shirt and gone, "Oh aye, there's a player in there" though. The managers post-McInnes have a record of poor man management, though. Hopefully Thelin turns that around.
