There must have been a fair amount of cash gone through Aberdeen since the oil boom started. What exactly have consecutive councils done to improve the infrastructure of the city?

In fact, is there even a functioning public toilet in Aberdeen?

I think the ones between School hill and Marshall College are still in service.

Ask tup, i'm sure he'll know. :gay:

The GLA was the man for hanging about toilets. Victoria PArk one's to be precise.

Only drawback about them is it's quite conspicuous when you're boring a peep hole through in preparation for a bit of how's your father. :sherlock:

I dinna live in Aberdeen, and have never been au fait with public lavvies even when I did.

Ask ByeneBergen, who openly stated that he and his pals used to take to the bogs to pull each ither off during Dundee's depressing collapse into administration to try and forget about it all for at least 180 seconds.

maybe our legal eagle big man can say... I wonder if there is a way to counter their appeal. Sew them for something privately, maybe disrupting the city or some other way to cost them even more filthy.

Not sure if their legal fees are still capped but there is no way they should be now. They lost and they are taking the decision to fight on.

I heard from someone that this appeal isn't going to be heard till next year.

What a fucking joke if true.

That's perfectly possible im afraid, it looks like it will be a pretty complex appeal. They have to be granted leave to appeal however (which they havent been given yet) and they'll ask for their legal costs to be capped (which the court might not do this time).

Not really - it would probably do more harm than good.

The best outcome would be if William Walton (the roadsense top chief) was declared a vexatious litigant which means he would restricted from bringing futher actions. That won't happen though. I don't agree with them, but legally from what i've read their appeal appears to have some merit (its argueable at least).

Speaking as a tree hugger I would just like to say that despite my opposition to both the Trump development and the Union Terrace Gardens plans, that I am I favour of the bypass or western peripheral route or whatever.

Not everyone who objects to something is a nimby, just because you don't share their opinions
