I don't make a point of watching Spurs mate, but every time I've seen him or heard him spoken about everyone goes out of their way to talk about how great he is.

He's a fantastic prospect with a huge future ahead of him, I honestly can't see the media ruining him just yet.

He looks a good player, but a red card waiting to happen every game.

You'd take him at Arsenal over all your midfielders though, wouldn't you.

Yep :-)

Not seen much of him to be honest.
His goal the other day was a peach.

Always skeptical of these players that come out of nowhere; as opposed to teenage superstars like Owen and Rooney.
Or players like Barclay who have been around a long time but not really done much.
In short I dinna expect much from this crop of eng players.

His goal the other week was ridiculous, no doubt about it.

As you say though, Barkley was the next big thing, then he petered out, then he was the boy again.

Aye genuine superstar players are visible at 17, 18, etc.
Clubs get hold of them early; same with the fans and media.

If Barclay was anything special Utd, or Chelsea or City would've broke the bank already for him.

But he is nae so they haven't.

Any year of Rodney's career is better than any Arsenal player of that same time frame.

Cracks me up when Sir Alex calls him Dave.

We? Poor fishing from you.

Correct me if I'm wrong @minijc but did you not own a England top not so long ago?

I seem to remember something about that around the time I joined the Hat.

RIP Ali Brownlee.

Diagnosed with bowel cancer 3 months ago, died last night. Age 56.

For as long as I can remember he commentated on the Boro games.

Apparently Kranky is considering his future and left the training ground in a huff on Friday. Assistant manager is taking the team against Charlton today.

He's probably realised that if he gets them promoted he'll be replaced fairly soon after...has Harry's name been mentioned yet?

Rumour has it that he's been tapped up by Valencia.

No chance 'Arry would come up here, we're north of Watford.

Guy at work is a 'Boro fan and reckons it's because Steve Gibson was shagging the manager's wife.
