Any profit would be minimal as most supporters groups we are hardly going to arrange a bus at a loss.

If you think 1500 is cheap for a coach journey to Hull and back then you are the one with the "bright" issues.

You ever looked into booking a bus from Adeen to Hull?

The quote we got was slightly cheaper than 1500, assuming there is 49 folk on the bus we could probably charge 27 a head but we've rounded it up as 30 is still cheaper than other buses running and if you've any experience running a bus you'll know the chances are folk will bail out!

Anyway we'll have to see how much interest there is but for what its worth the quote is competitive, as someone posted above all buses from adeen are expensive in the SPL let alone Hull!

So you're going to make a 150 profit if everyone turns up. I wouldn't be going anyway but I'm not paying for the red ultra's piss up.

A half full bus to killie doesnt cost everyone 30, such trips end up being subsidised because a trip to glasgow
or edinburgh will be popular so if 49 turn up @ 30 each for Hull then the balance will go towards future
displays and/or subsidising other trips.

All is good.

I just don't do flags and they respect that.

Give them a break. 30 is a decent price, and it's better to have a best case scenario of a small surplus than to have some people dropping out at the last minute and some poor lad who booked it having eto carry the can. It's not as if they're running it for profit, and is probably a right pain in the arse to get organised.

How are you getting down there?

Is it true that you get an induction in the toilet on your first trip with them?

Dad says he might go so either he or I will drive, hopefully him, if he's not going i'm not, hate buses at the best of times. Probably depends which game we're away from aswell.

You're going to drive? Good luck with that. That's a long way for someone who's just passed their test, you'll be knackered when you get there, and you won't be boozing either. How much do you reckon the petrol's going to be?

Maybe the bus is a better option after all.

I think that's just wishful thinking on your part. ;)

Believe me, it's a decent bus, well the lads at the back are. :poster_oops:

considering hull is an 235 miles further away than killie (killie is 168 from aberdeen) so you would need 2 drivers etc so it would cost more... ;)

stuart you are very welcome to come on the ru bus :poster_oops:

I'll assume it won't be just me and dad probably at least 1 or 2 other folk will come with us so that 4 people so say 120 would be for the bus fares, I reckon that would be around the price it will be for petrol if Dad drives, or if I do then probably 90ish.

I doubt I will drive though, but i managed easily enough for the rangers game.
