Myself and several others have been looking into this, how to go about starting one linked to the club? Can't find any info on the official website.

You need to write to a top red and gain the backing of 3 other top reds before you can start one.

What would your name be?

'Neil Simpson Cruciate Specialists' would be a good one.

Hardly, ther is a group of rangers fans of about 4-5 that go to games, but they go with folk from Peterhead I'm sure.

Someone create an AFC Chat supporters club.

No rules, bad behaviour actively encouraged and no photographic evidence of whatever goes down.

With that in place I'd certainly go to 1 or 2 away games over the next 3 seasons.

If you are not a Proper Gent, you are bent.

OK, let me get this straight

A few yocals drink in a boozer miles fae ahin and abdy

They go to games together, most of the time

They hit the town now and again, probably organise a game of golf or something just as mundane for a Sunday afternoon to escape the wife dragging them round tesco

Sometimes they watch Man U together on a Wednesday in the boozer inna

Whats going to change if you give it a name and call it a club? Will the permission slips be easier signed or is this just some lame excuse to try and belong to something?

You don't give a man like Bluto a drink in those piddly little glasses. Give him the bloody bottle.

Seems an easy way to elevate yourself into the upper echelons of ticket availability.

I suppose with Pittodrie always being sold out things like that are extremely useful.

He's probably outraged he couldn't get a brief for the semi and feels this will be a good plan.

I'm an st holder and have been for 15 years, and got my ticket for the semi today. Us 'yocals' go to 75% of away games and on a good day can 20+ lads going along. Only 1 of us has a wife and not one of us plays golf. Also Don't think I ever have hit the boozer for a Man U game in my life. If we had a supporters group I would imagine it would be easier to get large quantity tickets easier than it is just now.

Cheers for the input spam spam spam spam spam spam

It's a decent idea. The more supporters clubs and buses to away games the better if you ask me.

The ythanview is full of top reds, last time I was in you couldn't move for fit birds all with their dons tops on waiting for the troops to come home from pittodrie.

The more towns with supporters clubs, the better.

If the fitba is shite, then folk are more likely to go along with the prospect of a day out organised by someone else.
