  1. I don’t see any arrogance whatsoever, not sure where you are getting that from? If our defence was semi-competent then Roos wouldn’t be as exposed as he has been. Were people saying he was the worst player on the planet last season when Pollock and MacDonald were playing?
  2. Disagree, he looks like a goalkeeper who has zero confidence in himself and the team in front of him. Don’t think it’s anything to do with not being bothered about the club. Our defence has been an absolute shambles all season, imagine having to rely on that lot to close players down, block shots, communicate properly etc? Watching MacDonald fall over in a semi-final and gift them a goal? The sheer hatred for this guy is laughable tbh
  3. There’s probably decent refs coming through the ranks but fast tracking them because of who they are related to etc is completely wrong. Nepotism is a massive problem in Scottish football and just another reason it needs a complete overhaul.
  4. So what do you suggest, only have England-based refs participate in our top flight? What incentive does that give any young referees here to be the best they can? Spend thousands more on full-time English refs instead? Or if there’s “plenty of them” are you suggesting bringing in lower league refs from England that are likely to be not good enough?
  5. Huns were massive favourites at Ibrox IIRC? Full house, flags, display, media and pundits wanking themselves into a frenzy….. Pumped 3-1 lol The second leg was even more hilarious. Just wonderful viewing.
  6. It’s been tremendous business for us. For Liverpool and Ramsay, not so much.
  7. Refs here would just say they support lower league teams if they had to state who they support like they do in England. One of the main issues is that rangers and Celtic (mostly rangers IMO) are so ingrained in the fabric at every level and facet of Scottish football and the Scottish media it’s impossible to get rid of any bias or favouritism. People mewling about AFC not going mental about things know this fine well though. As long as we can still get a points deduction and relegated I would say it’s no wonder the club hasn’t said much.
  8. That’s a bit more understandable than your original post however I am not really sure why Polvara has been singled out given there’s been far, far worse players at the club in the last few years.
  9. So how much do you think Miovski is worth and what he will be sold for? Genuine question
  10. lol fans don’t matter in the EPL, that’s how you can have teams like Bournemouth, palace etc with about 20k capacity stadiums in the top flight. Tv money is all that really matters.
  11. Mentioning May is weird, he was a great player until his knee injury down south. He never recovered fully from that. The fact the fans were mega patient with him showed that we had seen how good he was but he just wasn’t the same player. Most of us were expecting him to kick on after a while but it just didn’t happen. Main has always been a very limited player, all he did was bully our piss-weak defenders so we signed him. Agree on the back 5 though, sticking with that no matter what was ludicrous. It paid off a couple of times or so, notably in Europe which I think gave it this false validity to persevere with it.
