  1. Not being able to afford players never stopped deadco from signing players, right up to only a few weeks before they went bust. The tribute act have learned no lessons from them. Fully expect them to try to sign Shankland in the summer. I do agree with you that there will be interest from English Championship clubs too. But I'd think the lure of European football would swing things in sevco's favour
  2. Aye I'd avoid him like the plague, although he's likely way out of our wage structure anyway. Not to mention his frequent injury problems
  3. I was in the same year at primary and high school as Ernie McGarr's younger daughter. He liked a good drink did old Ernie. Always stood the local Dons supporters a pint if we were in
  4. I think Moyes' career in the EPL is probably over but he should be able to pick up a job in the Championship fairly easily. Wouldn't surprise me to see him making a prodigal son's type return to PNE in the summer. He'd definitely be in with a fair shout of the Celtic job if it arose too but I think things have settled down there with Rodgers.
  5. How much did he charge you and was he pre or post-op?
  6. I see your cuddy above romped home. Maybe you should change sports for your treble tips?
  7. Red card was fucking ridiculous But Tavernier manages to not score with yet another penalty 🤣
  8. Superscoreboard panellists have been speculating for a wee while now about Miovski to Celtic. Initially they reckoned about £3m would be enough to land him. In the past week or so, it crept up to a question of "Who would Celtic be better off spending £5m on......Idah permanently or Miovski?" 100% of the pundits agreed Miovski would be the better purchase. The debate started again pre yesterday's kick-offs but Gordon Duncan interjected that he had been told by someone "he trusts" that it would take a fair bit more than £5m for Aberdeen to sell Miovski to anyone. If anyone had bothered doing the slightest bit of research they could have found out ages ago about Burrows stating at least twice that we had turned down £6m last summer.
  9. Neighbour is a (fairly sizeable) Hibs shareholder. Says his family didn't even arrive permanently till well after NY and they don't like it at all. Also says they will go for O' Neill as the replacement. Reckons they can afford the compo due to NI and then his salary easily now with this new American boy that's bought into them.
  10. Supposedly his family hate living in Scotland and desperately want to return back to Australia. I think there will be a mutual agreement reached fairly quickly after the season ends
  11. Already discharged home. Couldn't have been anything else
  12. Honestly thought he was ok. Nothing special for sure but there's been far worse we've had in the past
  13. I thought he was still of an age where we will be due a development fee for him? Somewhere in the region of £500k? He's been very inconsistent, honestly not sure if he's really worth a lot more than that anyway.
