The semi finals summed up the season for both Aberdeen and Hearts. We have raised our game against relatively good opponents this season but have struggled against the so called smaller clubs. Hearts have been the exact opposite.

Great performance yesterday. However how frustrating is it to see what the team is capable of when for the majority of the season they have been so poor? -
He does well against teams that don't play hoof ball. Unfortunately he can't adapt (or has not shown that he can) to playing against the big physical striker that most teams in the league have.

Hibs did not make the top six and we move a further point ahead of safety. Shite game but we move on. Next week is our season defining moment. -
Is he any good though at managing footballers?
-
Aye, like one with the experience of managing over 1500 games. Are you with me?

Based on this latest news, what does it do for the credibility of mainstanddon?

We are heading for 500 pages.

Who is our backup if he turns us down?

Another week gone and still no manager. This guy better be worth it.

This signing makes my blood boil. For the money we have reportedly spent on him and the limited return, how does Gunn not have answer sone very tough question's regarding this signing. Anyone could see with his previous injury problems and lack of game time before signing this was a huge risk. You didn't need data to come to that conclusion.

How is that offside? Macdonald is onside in the first phase in my opinion. -

It never is at Livingston. -
I get what you are saying however the new manager will be expected to hit the ground running. The last three managers lasted less than a year. Hence we don't have time for anyone to familiarize themselves with the league. If they had the last 5 to 6 games of this season then I could get the logic a little bit better, but reports are suggesting we may wait until the end of the season.

I can't understand why folk think Jimmy Thelin would be any good. He will not understand Scottish football, the gold fish bowl that comes with the job, or the tactics that hammer thrower clubs use. His tactics are consider direct for Swedish football but this does not mean he can replicate it in Scotland.
