  1. This is a six pointer as are all our league games from now on. Denying the opposition points is crucial so hope to win but for sure don't lose.
  2. Declan McManus on the bench for the New Saints v Airdrie in the SPFL Trust Trophy this afternoon
  3. Seven years ago (less a fortnight) we won this fixture 7-0. The Dons were at their 21st century peak at the time. To see how far we have regressed is disheartening.
  4. Assuming his contract was up to 31st May he was in post for only 35 out of 118 days or 30% of the duration. Can any of the ITK people advise if he forfeited 70% of his remuneration?
  5. Whoever he is has a hell of a job on his hands assuming he has any hand in recruitment. Of 27 players with significant first team experience 6 are out of contract at the end of this season and only Barron a possible to stay, 2 are on loan, Richardson, McGarry, Jensen, Morris, Besuijen and Gueye need to be moved on, Duk and Miovski are likely to be sold and Shinnie needs to find a less demanding role. Some rebuild!
  6. The "management" need to calculate how much relegation would cost the club and then make that figure or a good chunk of it the bonus for staying up. This may be rewarding failure but professional pride does not seem to be a factor for the majority of our current squad.
  7. Because it worked so well in the Hibs game last season
  8. If the last column is showing the number of games over which the "average" was calculated( the number for 2014/15 suggests that this is so) then these are not season averages at all
  9. It's very unlikely to happen but doesn't bode very well for us considering our record against Kilmarnock, St Mirren and Hibs. It would be very interesting if it was used to settle the top two.
  10. BBC league table is showing Hibs above Aberdeen despite identical records. Is head to head record officially a tie breaker?
  11. He might turn out to be the 2024 version of Cup-tie McKay.
  12. I'm fairly sure that if McInnes was still manager we'd be in a better place than we are currently but it's like saying that the country would be better off if Theresa May was still Prime Minister. Just because what followed was disastrous doesn't mean that it wasn't time to go.
  13. Morris last night was worse than McNamara in the QOTS semi final
