Kilmarnock 0 - 2 Aberdeen

Great win today. Killie will take points off the others. If we finish second this season - will be McInnes strongest season with us given the improvement in opposition.

McInnes will have us up for the Hearts game this Friday - we'll be looking to beat them after our last result at Tynecastle.

And the failures in the cups will be overlooked.

Nobody remembers second place.

watched the game on Red Tv and Killie are a poor team without Mulumbu and Jones, can see them losing the next 4 also, we played ok there keeper was pretty poor Ball played ok and Reynolds wasn't put under much pressure thankfully, poor booking for Mclean and we will miss him for the Hibs game as he is on top form

Good 3 points against a stuffy side. Still thought we really struggled to create chances that weren't set pieces. The whole midfield were too far away from May again and gave him no support. Only when GMS came on did we get some joy in wider areas.

I feel sorry for May as he is starting to put a real shift in but getting no real service or support from our midfield.

I think this has been the issue all season. May just looks isolated up front and struggles to get any service from the midfield and it makes it look like he does fuck all, when reality is that he doesn't get many chances at all. Same for Rooney, he gets no real service these days either, hence the lack of goals.

Yes I'd be worried if May & Rooney were missing clear cut chances etc but in reality they are getting no support or service. Bringing Rooney on to play left mid is a total waste and then he takes May off and puts Rooney up front and then again he brought Arnason on and moved Rooney to the left again and played McLean up front.

Strange decisions and yes we won 2-0 but I didn't really see any marked improvement from the previous week except defensively we looked slightly better. Killie struggled to defend set pieces and the goalie throws in the first goal. We need a big improvement to finish in the top 3 never mind top 2.

Hmm, they've both had their moments throughout the season. But I do agree that the service hasn't exactly been pin point.

Id like to think that was GMS now fully fit again.
