Lennon is a terrible manager and has been found out in his first real test is the honest answer, can’t motivate players and tactically inept

Or, they didn't want the ten as it would dilute the rivalry

I dont think it was a case of somehow not wanting the ten per se.  Rather they valued the rivalry more, were concerned as to its solvency and not getting the 10 provided the benefit (elsewhere) of a vital financial lifeline to the hun.  Im not convinced their view was to 'just win it' this year.  Why take the risk particularly with TIAR?  As theyre discovering the downside was/is far far in excess of anything an exciting run in would have given them.    Id also be interested in the average Tim fans view on the boards measure of equivalence.

There's shades of 2012 about it.  Why not just stick the boot in and force them to acknowledge a new club?  Everything thats happened since would have been exactly the same including the common references to "Rangers," "coming back," journeys and all the rest of it.  Their fans were certainly going nowhere, no more so than now when they're more than competitive again.  The distinction would literally have been a company number or an asterisk on a dusty shelf somewhere.  They were going to bleat about 55 regardless.  But the Tim execs chose to facilitate this bastardised kind of a new club but apparently not really arrangement that we're faced with, supposedly forced to accept and move along with which flies in the face of every fan who put his hand in his pocket 1999-2011.

It's not like the Celtic board were denying cash to Lennon. He paid £5million for a (dud) keeper, £4.5million for a (dud) Ajeti, £3million for a (very good) Turnbull. He was also allowed to bring in Shane fucking Duffy (the dud of all time) on a year's loan for a reported £2million loan fee and Elyounoussi on loan from Southampton. And then (another dud) Laxalt on loan from AC Milan.

There may be an element of truth that they only wanted to be "just" better than sevco but I think the real reason that 10IAR has disappeared down the shitter is purely and simply because Lennon is a shite manager. Backed up by an utterly incompetent Head of Football Operations in Nicky Hammond who appears to have as good an eye for football talent as Stevie Wonder.

It's exactly the same issue we've had with McInnes recruitment the past few seasons.

I was annoyed at him moaning about our recruitment in the last transfer window. The only reason we were needing to recruit anyway is because he's filled the majority of the team with players who aren't good enough for the level we should be at the last couple seasons. The board have continually backed McInnes, given him money to get players in when they've come available, allowed him to sign extra players to cover for injuries etc.

Celtic at the moment are no different, although the large transfer fees and fan protests make it more obvious than it is here.

another damning indictment of our coaching and sport science departments. Wright’s fragility has been identified and is being rectified by another club

Same thing happened with McNaughton after he left. Pathetic AFC.

Not on the muscle building side of things, but I'm pretty sure Fraser said his diet was terrible when he was at AFC - that was rectified after he went to Bournemouth.

Celtic made the mistake, like many others, of viewing the huns as a self imploding joke of a club and never saw them as any true threat. The huns have been the joke of Scottish football since 2012 and rightly so, but Celtic have had no real threat when it comes to their domestic game, so it is understandable how they managed to end up in this position. It is a series of events that have led to Celtic's demise, with the Lennon appointment topping the pile. He is a shite manager, who had success on the back of having no real threat domestically and having a transfer budget that eclipsed everyone elses.

The huns were in turmoil during his first spell and a fucking monkey could of won the league and cups with Celtic from 2012 onwards, but Lennons resolve was always going to be tested when they appointed him as the Teeths replacement. Fuck me, the second he was in most of us thought the huns could flip the script and they have. It isnt just Celtics fault though, all clubs have bent over and allowed the huns to grow and grow. They all had plenty opportunities to hold them accountable, make them pay for their cuntery, but they did nothing of the sort. Now the 55 myth is peddled like it is matter of fact.

Before Covid, the squad would frequent Nando's quite regularly. How Logan doesnt look like a 2020 version of Martin Lawrence with the amount of Nando posts he used to make, is beyond me. Cant imagine the club being that strict on these sorts of things tbh,

I mean even a blind person could see he was a weakling here, it shouldn’t need specialist coaches and sports scientists to see that.

We did manage to bulk Pawlett out when he was here, it’s strange we never tried (I assume) with Wright.

Fraser did an interview saying he ate dominoes every night didn’t he?

Copper right at the start of the clip just walks by, no attempt to move them on.

Must be empathetic to the plebs as their club is on course to win their very first major domestic honour

He's probably got a tattoo of a bulldog dressed in a huns strip holding a union flag on his calf. That's the type of tattoo huns like.

I see social distancing is being observed immaculately. I wonder if a certain poster on here is there in attendance?.

I'm sure a few posters off of here will be there in solidarity with the "Lee Rigby Memorial Rangers Supporters Club."

Doing gods work, those lads.
