#1883361 Aberdeen v Dumbarton

Posted by King Street Loon on 02 January 2020 - 07:06 PM

I’m all for trying to improve the game experience but (flak incoming) me and my kids have season tickets in the middle sections of the Merkland, so I can’t buy my seats for the game as it stands. Having young kids and knowing where we will sit week in, week out is important, and it’s not like I can go and buy like for like tickets elsewhere as there aren’t many blocks of seats available at the moment as they are all reserved for season ticket holders to buy, then I’m in the same boat as everyone else scrambling around for tickets. Now, I thought that families were important to the club, the support of the future and all that, but I’m seriously pissed off with this being pushed into the Merkland Family Stand, I likely won’t bother going now and I wonder how many others in our position may do likewise, what will that do to the crowd and atmosphere, simply move some fans while alienating others.

So you can't reserve your seat for the Merkland? I got an email saying i could reserve my seat in the South.
Why don't you phone the ticket office tomorrow and explain your issues. They're pretty good and may be able to alleviate any concerns you have and come up with a solution. I'm being encouraged to try the Merkland out for a change, so may well give it a try, but i honestly don't think the amount of people moving for this game will be as much as you think.

Disappointing to wake up to see that the sniveling creep Andrew Bowie has held in my area. Too many self serving arseholes out here. Need another election in a few years time and a few nore of these voting cunts will be dead and it'll be canary yellow.

#1868498 Team of the Decade

Posted by King Street Loon on 03 December 2019 - 11:39 PM

3-4-2-1 formation
Lewis
Hector Anderson Reynolds
McGinn Jack Shinnie Hayes
Christie McLean
Cosgrove

Subs: Ward, Considine, Logan, Robson, Pawlett, Maddison, Rooney

The above would win the league under a manager with a positive outlook.

There are teams from Ireland in recent times and with lesser budgets who have made it to the group stages. So it shouldn't be impossible on our budget.

#1863174 Cormack Thread

Posted by King Street Loon on 22 November 2019 - 04:15 PM

Stewart Milne's tenure has been failure in the main.

He ran up a debt of £15m and was bailed out by the Donald's

He left Pittodrie neglected and it's now a shithole

He's appointed umpteen shite managers.

I could go on...

If this means that we show a modicum of ambition (within reason) and a bit of spine with the football authorities...

If it means we will not be seen as the subservient, quiet club that we are just now...

If it means there will be a general lifting of the apathy that permeates down from the present Board...

If it means no more drinking from the huns loving cup (ok that bit was an unnecessary dig)....

if those things happen, then I'm fine with it.

I've said to the McInnes haters, that change is needed at the top before we even think about McInnes.

We now have it.

I now wonder how safe Derek Mcinnes might be in the future, seeing as Milne was his number 1 backer?....

It'll come down to results and not how good he is a sucking Milnes dick.

Surely if they were planning on ditching the stadium, they could have held off the Training Facilities and moved that closer to Pittodrie!

Why, makes no difference whatsoever where the training facilities are in relation to the Pittodrie.

#1862701 How many people will attend your funeral?

Posted by King Street Loon on 21 November 2019 - 05:31 PM

My posting is consistent Poodler - it's just how folks choose to deal with it.

Sometimes folk love the Dad chat, sometimes theyd prefer I was dead - quality remains the same throughout.

I learned many many many moons back - you cannae please all cunts all the time; you just have to keep pumping it out and wait for the tide to turn.

The quality is consistently shite.
