Would argue that Sturgeon was at her peak of popularity throughout COVID winning plaudits from England and beyond on how at the time she was handling COVID and the lockdown etc. Getting into bed with the Greens and pursuing a raft of non economic policies that the vast majority of the Scottish population had little to know interest in is what ended her. In turn her abrupt resignation, that resulted in the poorer clone in all ways that is Humza being appointed, appears to be the final nail in the coffin. Alex Salmond must torn between laughing his head off at what is happening while being utterly devastated at what has happened to the Party he helped take to unbelievable heights. Would you bet on him being reappointment to lead the SNP again?

Times reporting Humza "considering his position". SNP is serious trouble. Ash Regan must be pissing her pants at this.

Just listened to his press conference and it was as expected. Greens calling him everything in theirs while he tries to smooth it over saying all is ok and its been a great relationship but its run its course. Imagine having to give a press conference on dumping the girlfriend or wife... "Your wife has said in her statement that its because you smell and have a small penis and she loves her new (well hung) pool boy lover, how do you respond to those remarks?". Will be interesting to hear what else the Greens come out with over the coming days.
