I think his player selection and team set up are fine, way better than McLeishs teams.

 

But... the players aren't quite good enough and worse they know they aren't. The honestly all look beaten before we even start.

Aye, Forrest and McGregor look brilliant against the SPFL dross however when they make the step up in Europe or international football they show themselves up for the journeymen players that they are.

We should bin this qualification group now and use the games to prepare the team for future campaigns.

 

Get a few more youngsters some game time.

Find a right back, striker and a centre back from fucking somewhere.

I think they are both ok ish for Scotland. But like most of our players they are inconsistent at international level- quality or mindset or both maybe.

O Donnell was laughably bad! Reckon one of the worst performances Iv seen from a supposed international footballer. Even writing international footballer beside his name makes me cringe.
