For us - and I think it’s too much of an ask even now - our lack of goals is the killer if we somehow were to maintain a title challenge and I’m pretty sure goal difference will be huge at the end of the season

Agreed I’m realistic here and wouldn’t think it would come down to that anyway if it were us and Tims but if somehow it is the ugly sisters at end of season then it would be tight with goal difference

I'd be fuckin amazed if our goal difference was in any way relevant to the destination of the title.

We're a few points behind where we've been in previous seasons, but so are Celtic, and this probably reflects the number of teams who can take points off each other at the top of the table.

We are not going to win the league unfortunately but if we were to win the next four then that would be a lot of the way to prove me wrong.

 

I can certainly see us winning the next two but dont see us winning at easter road and the huns at home will be tough.

Those away fixtures couldn't be much worse!  But if we're going to have a chance at challenging they are exactly the matches we need to win (or in the case of the Celtic game avoid defeat)

Also some context that we dont need to win every game to still be in the mix. Even Celtic will drop points and in fact I think they'll drop points in one of the next two even though they are relatively straight forward fixtures.

 

We need to beat the teams we are expected to and hope we get half the points from the tough fixtures.

 

That'll be enough to have us in the title hunt which would be amazeballs.

Confident Livvie and St Johnstone can contribute in the next week.

 

Things are looking so promising this normally the time for egg on our face tomorrow. A win would show this team have a better mentality than many previous seasons.

This Celtic team up their game against us and the Huns and seem to play a weakened team against other teams, which is why they’ll drop more points. If we can get at least draws with them it’ll be close come the split.
