redone
The third? Why? Surely the second or first? Aye , it was after the first goal that Shinnie was giving Shay , and only Shay, an absolute bollocking ....right in his face , and Shay seemed none too pleased about it Link to comment
BWG
Hoban can play right back can he not? Yes although it might be in the same way that Ball can play right back. Either way I'd be inclined to give it a go against Queen of the South if for no other reason than to send a rocket up Logan's arse and let him know that he's not undroppable. Link to comment

I think I remember Cosgrove coming deep to half way line with an excellent touch and control. Played it back to Logan who booted it to nowhere. Cosgrove has really improved his all round play. BWG
Sure I read he played there for Watford when they got promoted. I've no idea but Logan needs made an example of. He's been getting away with murder for ages and it culminated in that fucking nightmare last night. Cunt is training to be a plumber and right now he looks more like one than a professional footballer. Link to comment

If he continues at the current rate, through to May and finishes on 20-odd goals, he'll not be an Aberdeen player next season. A goalscoring young English centre forward - we'll be fending off bids for him, from down south, all summer. That would have been a crazy suggestion just a couple of months ago. Link to comment

Foster14
Logan was always better attacking than defending. Since Hayes and pre-Korea McGinn left, I think he has had less licence on the attacking part and been forced to focus on his defending. Which negated where he was more effective. And then from that confidence has dropped and we are seeing what appears to be a shadow of the former player. Link to comment

King Street Loon
He was terrible last night, but on whole, this season I don't think he deserves as much stick as he's received. Think a large part of the problem is complacency. If he's fit, he knows he's starting at right back. Simple as that. There is no competition for his place. It's a pity we missed out on Naismith in the summer and also that we don't appear to have a right back in the youth set-up who looks ready to play.Have a look back at the games this season and you'll see how many goals Logan has been at fault for or could have done so much better at.I think we should be looking at getting a replacement in. elephantstone78
Shinnie destroyed Shay after the third goal. Proper shouting in his face. He looked shotAye, saw that (thought it was 2nd goal from Morelos but could be wrong). Quite liked it tbh. Logan has been let off with too much too many times and it showed shinnie still gives a shit. His (shinnie) tackling was immense last night. Wilson is fucking dog shit though Link to comment
TheRock
Does Shay have an extra day off or something? Perhaps at 31 that's catching up with him. Maybe stretching a bit there. Link to comment

Naismith was clearly being lined-up and by all accounts McInnes went hard after him. Obviously we missed out, but why didn't sign another right back? Without a better solution, I wonder if McInnes is looking for Shaughnessy to timeshare with Logan next season? Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Isn't he a centre back? He's played a bit at right-back too I believe... depending on what happens with McKenna, we could be quite stacked with CB's next season. It's worrying that McInnes couldn't find a solution after losing out on Naismith... so if there's a similar struggle this summer, it wouldn't surprise me to see Shaughnessy spending a bit of time out there. Obviously just pure speculation at this point! Maybe better as an off season discussion! Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
Could live, particularly against weaker opposition, with trying a back 3 of Hoban Devlin and McKenna with Lowe and (probably) McGinn outside that. Failing that, we’re dangerously close to our whole let’s shoe in a CH at FB thing that I thought we’d shaken off. Link to comment

Should it be wido? Rather than looking like video? Anyway, bit harsh to call a footballer a cretin......it’s not like they’re meant to be highly intelligent in their profession? Link to comment
Ten Caat
Logan's demise has hardly been a recent phenomenon. He was gash for the first 6 months of season 2017/18 (admittedly he was back to his best for the final 12 weeks or so) This season he has been consistently poor but throwing in a very good game perhaps once every 6 weeks. I also concur that our pursuit of Jason Naismith was as a replacement not as competition for the right back slot. Is he still being allowed to fuck off every weekend to Manchester after our game and return late on the Monday evening, skipping one day's training each week in order to see his kids? Really hope we do get in a better right back in summer. But also hope that the guy we get to do so isn't Shaughnessy. Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
we are not a very nice bunch to our players when they go off the boil. Generally been a great player for Aberdeen since signing 5 years ago. Probably the best most consistent right back we've had since.... ?? The abuse I've seen folk tagging him in twitter is pathetic. He is in shite form though. No doubt about it. Need to take a look at a replacement. Link to comment

GDON21
Kerr at Dundee looks an OK right back and would be in our price range.Logan has done enough over the years to be cut a bit of slack. Kerr can't even get in a dundee team 2nd bottom of the table just now. This fascination of the boy because he had one decent game against us like 4 years ago is nonsense. Shaugnessy will not come back to us to play right back. He is a a centre back now and wants to play that position, he has options up here and south that will play him week in week out at centre back. Logan has been sluggish this season and his distribution is getting more like ricky foster week in week out. I love the guy, his passion for the club and he puts everything in to each game but unfortunately he needs to be defensively better now as he's lost a yard of pace. He's at an age now where he needs to work on being a defender first and foremost as his pace getting back won't bail him out forever. He's been great for us but it must be time were looking at some real competition for him going forward for next season. Link to comment
