BWG
I’m great, Mcinnes has signed a new deal so good times here. Not sure how you equate any of that to a “tantrum” tbh, maybe you have problems with comprehension. It could be the numerous antagonistic posts you're making towards anybody who even slightly disagrees with your views, regardless of whether they're actually replying to you or not, but who knows? I expect you'll do your usual and have your wee meltdown and then vanish for a few days. Get well soon, BHL. Link to comment
Big Hat Logan
What the fuck are you on about? He is already remunerated well. I don't think he should get improved terms immediately after a season where a club with half the budget finished above the team he is managing. In other occupations he would be getting a warning. I don't know if you watched the football last season, but its not particularly easy on the eye. He could be forgiven for slipping two places in a season if the team were a joy to watch.Hysterical nonsense. Link to comment
Ramandu
Which of the current top league managers would you have in his place?More than that. Which of the top league managers of the last 6 years would you rather have? Or 10 years? Remember when folk wanted Derek Adams? Or Tommy Wright? Or Neil Lennon? Link to comment

Macski
Not too bothered about this either way. There's absolutely no doubt DM has steadied the ship at the club from when he came in. When we've had the moments that we thought he may be leaving us, I wasn't concerned about his going. It was who Milne would replace him with that gave me the fear! 1 Link to comment

Ramandu
We only allowed to take on managers in the SPFL like? No. But we're fishing roughly in the same pond as other spfl teams. Other clubs are trying to get the best manager they can, and I don't see them finding someone better than McInnes. Suggests that we wouldn't either. 1 Link to comment

Clydeside_Sheep
I think this is great news. Yes, we have regressed a little in the last 1 or 2 years. However, success at any level is founded on stability / consistency. We must have that for our managerial team, at least, even if we often rely on loans to fill key playing positions. i think its ridiculous to complain that we were "only" fourth last year. 2nd was possible, yes, but its no disgrace to McInnes to finish behind a team renowned for financial doping (and which is supported by the bulk of match officials) and a team which had a miracle season. Yes we want better than fourth, but the way to get that is to keep McInnes and back him. Its not as if he has reached the stage of Arsene Wegner at Arsenal, where it had gone stale - McInnes can and will achieve more for us: cup silverware and group stages of the Europa League are all exciting and wholly reasonable targets. 1 2 Link to comment

The Boofon
A slight embellishment but we were down to 9k in 2011 I think. Glad you don’t disagree with the rest of the post though.Well he did say last season wasn’t great. Hard to argue with that TBF. Link to comment
StandFree1982
Shocking that anyone would view this negatively. The club has been relentlessly successful under his reign. Not quite. Off the park, yeah. I think since he's came in the club has moved forward in leaps and bounds. Not all because of him, but a lot of ground work has to be credited to McInnes. On the park - You really can't classify 1 trophy in 5-6 seasons, and only really being close to another once, as "relentlessly successful". We've been much improved and i'd say moderately successful, in that we've achieved everything that is expected of us, bar last season. 1 1 Link to comment

It's been an absolute joy to support the team over the last 5/6 seasons. Good players, Europe, the expectation of victory most weeks, playing well against the old firm. If you compare that to the 20 years prior to Mcinnes... Hopefully the stability and consistency of a settled management team can give us an edge. Very VERY uncommon for managers to still be in a job this long. Link to comment

McInnes has clearly caused attendance to drop. On 29th of October, 2011 we had an attendance of 15,468. Then on 15th of May, 2015 we had an attendance of 10,003. ...do you see the problem with your argument? Link to comment

StandFree1982
Which we as dandies had every right to expect.Which we, as a club, should be expecting. We should be looking at:Being best of the rest as the bare minimum, which is what we've achieved, bar this season. Reaching Cup Finals. Nobody should expect us to reach every one, but should be in a couple every few seasons at the very least.Winning the odd final. Not having to wait 30 years for a cup win.If real football was Championship Manager, those would be the expectations set when you begin the game as Aberdeen manager! Link to comment
