This guy is either a fool or he is trolling you .

Now as I doubt anybody can be this stupid I reckon he must be trolling you lot.

I can tell by the few posts you make, you're not very smart. Your latest suggestion that Sturgeon (who isn't involved in Brexit talks) has used the virus to delay the exit from the EU, confirms this.

Thats alright though, I don't have to speak to absolutely with everybody.

Actually I have changed my mind.

He might be that stupid.

It  was me who mentioned it, will ignore the insult, I'm above that type of thing. It's so tedious for others to read as well.

She's loving it, just can't accept defeat and now even using the virus to block it. Political point scoring at its lowest.

Scotland voted to stay in the EU, Mr. I love democracwhenitsuitsmypolitics

Ah ok, so she's asking for something from the UK government. The same one that described devolution as a disaster, and has recently passed legislation which allows them to overrule the aforementioned devolution, when supplying funds to constituencies. They normally listen to us Scots, and their leaders, right?

I'm amazed you think anything Nicola has to say on the matter will influence the bunch of mongs in the cabinet/Westminster.

Great Britain which our region is a part of voted to leave.

Our country voted to stay. Overwhelmingly, might I add. The UK results were 49% by 51%, and still you Brexit cunts act like you've won democracy, like its a sport. It's an ongoing conversation that needs adapted to suit the needs of the people. Scotland is quite right to ask why we can have "best of both worlds" with the EU, when NI are getting so.

It won't.

Her reason for bleating on about it is mere political point scoring to try and influence voters, as I said using the virus to do it is sick.

It wasn't a Scottish vote, it was a British vote. It's akin to the people of London saying we didn't vote for it so we don't want it. Not how it works, we're all part of Great Britain, as such the vote should be accepted and Brexit supported.

You do realise it's the French who have blocked up the freight.

That's how the EU works.

"Using the virus to do is sick."

Bit like Matt Hancock fake crying on television, making a mockery of folk who've felt real pain this year.

Or a bit like Jacob Rees Mong politicising the vaccine, by saying it was due to Brexit the UK was able to administer it first, when it was actually because of legislation we are still under from the EU. I guess it just depends on how right wing the person is, for you to care.

Nicola Sturgeon has a clear mandate in Scotland, the SNP batter everyone else in the Scottish elections. She doesn't really need to influence voters to get elected, she gets a majority at a canter every election.

Ah, I was under the impression was a free trade agreement between participating nations? It's almost as if they no longer have to keep up that agreement, as we're now (or close to finally becoming) a non EU country?

I would say thats how Brexit works.

I accept it must be tough backing the losing horse every time, my sympathies. The race can't be rerun though, it's over, done. Only bad losers can't accept defeat.

Its not a sport, you moron. It's a process, that never ends.

Whats more democratic, getting to ask a question once every so often, or getting to ask questions as often as you like, in accordance with what the people want?

Yep we could have an election or referendum every month.

"Don't leave the UK, you can't be sure of your place in the EU"

"Ok"

"You're leaving the EU against your will anyway"

"We should vote over independence again"

"NO! you can only vote once on issues that had my desired outcome!"

Makes. No. Sense. Its. Not. Democratic.

Deary me.

Deary me.

We still have a free agreement with them.

Trade has never been blocked before during covid but the French as usual are playing politics.

If Britain did the same thing, you'd view it as good leadership.

We may still have the free trade agreement, but they've no obligation to appease us now we're leaving.

My understanding is they've blocked it due to fears over the new strain on the south coast.

Just to confirm.

Me going to a few house parties, months apart, with less than 10 people, whilst also holding the view that if we want to suppress the virus, schools should be closed, makes me a stupid hypocrite?

Went to public school. Never went without, generally got the things I needed. For Christmas I got the things I asked Santa for, that kind of thing.

My parents were able to afford to pay my rent whilst I was a student. I was able to get a foot I needed an operation on, privately. We went on holiday once a year generally, I was afforded the experience of living in a foreign country.

Those are just some things that I can think of that would make me middle class, also the size of our house, the Labrador retrievers etc etc. Just ordinary and plain middle class things. Essentially, we were never worried about money growing up. Luckily.

Im aware and fortunate to have been given that start in life.

??

Good lord.

I was spot on.

Middle class  ?‍♂️

What?

Is that not middle class? I'm sure my parents worried about money at times, but as kids we never felt it. Am I upper class?

Or am I a lower class than I thought I was?

I dunno, I just always assumed I was brought up middle class.

The definition of middle class, according to google is:

"the social group between the upper and working classes, including professional and business people and their families"

I would say it's more that definition.

As an idealist and a man wrapped up in political yesteryear speak, you need labels but the truth is, you're all over the place, on everything.

I don't think I need a label. But I also think it's distasteful to have the politics I do and not acknowledge the fact I'm not working class. Hence why I don't shy away from how lucky I was/am.

I don't think I am all over the place, it's about having two thoughts in your head at once. Something a fair few in here need to work on. ?
