Gordon Marshall Goalkeeping coach?

Not sure how that's relevant? Loads of teams never had a goalkeeping coach back in the day and were less successful than they are now WITH a goalkeeping coach.

We never used to have sports science, data tracking of players or video analysis either. We were better then. So we should get rid of all these things?

So goalkeepers can't improve with coaching but presumably you still want us to have coaches coaching the outfield players?

What makes them different?

Nothing at all. That's the point.

You've missed the point as usual.

Do you have a specialist coach to facilitate you feeding the cement mixer (this is how you do it Parky) or post on AFC Chat?

Goalkeepers should know how to shot stop, be instinctive, command their area, and sense danger.

I used to be one myself before my eyes  fucked up. My pal was on the books of Aberdeen (brilliant keeper) until Lenny Taylor released him. LT tut tut..... My point being Aberdeen have had a plethora of good keepers and let them go without the need of a coach as the raw ability is already there.
