Do you know her situation?  Maybe she has just came off of nightshift, she's maybe had a terrible sleep, hasn't eaten anything or was a little under the weather, I bet she's fine right now as well.  I actually know someone that got the vaccine earlier this week and that person has been perfectly fine.

Aye cause suddenly passing out is a common occurrence for night shift workers. Few times I was night shift offshore I fell into the sea

Don’t think I claimed every person receiving it would collapse or not be fine.

You pro vaccine now? Seem to recall you saying no way you’d be taking it because of the reduced testing time ?

Haha come on min, you know after a nightshift how fucked a person can be, to then receive a vaccine of any sort could floor a person.

I'm not pro vaccine, I just don't see the big fuss about someone collapsing after it, especially when we don't know her circumstances.  If I need to get it I probably will but due to my age and circumstances it'll be closer to Christmas next year before I'm even in a position to get it so I'm not overly worried plus there'll be a large sample size of data by time my 'turn' comes around.

Come on min, there's a big difference between fainting and someone with allergies having a reaction to it.

Cunts that refuse the vaccine should be refused treatment when they get the Covid, and their dick falls off (or whatever happens).

There we go.

Aye so long as aids treatment is refused to junkies, cancer treatment to smokers etc

People who moan about the restrictions and say they won’t take a vaccine are seriously off their head.

Vaccine is the only way out of this shite.

No its not. The government stopping imposing restrictions would be a good way out as well.

They've threatened us, guilt tripped us, scared us, taken away things we enjoy, separated us from our families and it's not worked. What do they do? Threaten us more, give us more restrictions, try to scare us more, its the height of stupidity and pointlessness

I’d say you’d be off your head to take a rushed vaccine for what’s basically a glorified cold but each to their own.

No it isn’t. Stopping the hysterical over reaction and accepting Covid is just another illness to add to the list of dozens if not hundreds that might kill us is another way out.

They're like tims - full of self entitlement. They skip the queue when waiting for a taxi/bus or to get in somewhere then greet like fuck when you pull them up on it.

Also when in town shopping, I've noticed the only cunts who flaunt the one way systems right now are old cunts.

And put their handbag / shopping on the seat next to them on trains. then do the pretend deafness followed by eye rolling and a tut when you ask them if they could move it so you can hear a seat (pre COVID obvs)

boomers are the worst. Proper oldies at least killed some jerries (gerries?) the 50-70 age group did fuck all but enjoy gold plated pensions and cheap property prices.

Daily Mail using NHS data. No doubt all lies and discredited immediately due to being in the Mail. I'd guess it's racist too.

Am not disputing the figures but do you not think if there was this capacity in nhs then the uk govt, who bear in mind are tories and in the main proponents of free market economics and capitalism, would not be rolling out the largest piece of socialism (furloughs etc) and lockdowns since ww2?

same for the centre rightist / right wing governments in charge of most of Europe.

Panic/incompetence. Despite the 'evil tories' rhetoric they don't want to be seen as being responsible for deaths so they have keeched their pants

You could say all of those things about 16 year olds too to be fair.

I just think it's somewhat unfair for people who won't be around to vote on things that will impact the country for the next 30 years. I guess I just find it a bit frustrating that, predominantly, over 65's have decided two referendums against what young people, who'll bare the consequences of the votes the most, have voted for.

It is an honest one. Not one I'd considered for any length of time though.

Haha I'm sure subconsciously that's played a part in it.

I half agree with you in that I too think 16&17 year olds should have the vote. Through modern studies lessons they’re probably more clued than a lot of other age groups and the Indy ref showed how engaged they get and how cognisant of the issues they are/were.

more likely to use internet to research issues and politicians and less likely to hold outdated views re topical topics like climate change.

disagree re taking vote away from the oldies though.
we should be encouraging democracy and not enacting suppression of a demographic.

Is it Australia that makes voting mandatory?

worth giving that a whirl?
